Hi, I just solved the problem on mine of the orange spanner light coming on. I'd assumed it was the service light, but it is NOT the service light. See page 1.54 in the Renault Scenic hand book. If you have a different model try looking in the index at the rear of the manual for warning lights. Watch out for other messages. I briefly got 'check child safety devices" in the start menu on the dash. I had had a flat battery, but might also have inadvertently also unset a child safety feature. I pressed the button on the door that disabled the rear electric windows, the child safety feature. Hey presto the light went out.

You will need to use a diagnostic Mechine to reset the service in that cause 👍🏼
If press top or bottom ...the service message goes away,but the spanner simble stay on.
