Thanks for another great tutorial, top man :) For anyone who wants to skip viewing in slow mo the below are the AK recoil Timeline values (approx): PitchInput 0, 0 0.25, -0.03 0.7, -0.0135 2.06, -0.022 3.5, -0.01 YawInput 0.0085, 0.0027 0.356, 0.0021 0.676, 0.0116 1.48, 0.014 1.82, 0.0068 2.3, 0.0059 0, 0
Video editing skills are absolutely outstanding, I cannot fathom how you do not have millions of subs. Keep at it, you'll explode one day. Quality is outstanding.
I’ve finished the video just now and the resetting recoil has a few problems. The first problem is that if you control the recoil, it goes down lower than the original rotation. The second problem is that if I move my weapon away while shooting and let go then the recoil goes under the original rotation. I have seen someone else fix this by saving the original rotation and then rotating back to the original rotation with a delta node and in a you have the rotation right now, in b you have the original rotation, or it’s the other way around. For the other problem, he got a delta then vector length, if it’s over 10.0 then you cancel the recoil reset.
please do a rough workflow outline for how you make your games. if you have the time. doesnt have to be screencapped just some info is good. i have no clue what i am doing
How could I get this to work with 3 round burst where 1 click fires 3 bullets but one click only gets you .1 second down the timeline? Otherwise fantastic tutorial!
I was wondering how you were able to get the weapon to stay in the middle of the screen when ADS. I tried recreating it by switching between two idle animations, one with o playback and one with 1 playback, but It looked extremely unnatural. Any ideas?
When tried setting the pitch to +1 in the timeline, the gun went down, and when setting it to -1 it went up. I fiddled a bit but couldn't find the origin of this problem. Any ideas?
I have a question if you dont mind. When I use ADS, my weapon still sways heavily....is there a way to get it to sway less when you use ADS as its supposed to be more accurate when you look down sights? Thanks
Would you be interested in working on a small project on unreal engine. I wanted a basic simple fps multiplayer shooting game. I just need part of it to be complete that shouldn’t take too long. I have unreal engine knowledge but when I created it, it didn’t look as good as I wanted it to be. I will obvious pay you what you think your time is worth. Can I contact you through an email?

Thanks man, needed a starting point to keep up. You’re the real MVP.
MVP comment, saved me a solid 5 mins lmao
i am so happy thank you bro i was searching this for 3 month
Anyone reading this, it is a bit messy system of recoil to work with
i would suggest to use variable in yaw and pitch instead of timeline
TY

Do you know how to stop the weapon sway while aiming down sights ?
@@Gbelloo I have the same problem lol
Thanks so much for this series. Your videos are great. Keep it up.
Will do :D
Thank you for the idea with timelines! I wondered how I can make a visual editor for patterns
You're welcome :)
Thank you! Your tutorials are very useful for my game dev being))))
This will produce different recoil at different frame rates since it's using a timeline without delta seconds.

That's actually a great point :v Maybe i'll make one more vid to improve the recoil timeline :)
@@CyberLOD ok hit me up if you need help with that.
Thank you man this was so helpful
You deserve millions of subs!
Hey man, how do you stop the idle animation when ADS? I can't find where you do this? Please help.

How do you disable weapon sway while aiming down sight? it is messing up my recoil pattern? i am using your template

Do you know how is it solve?
Same man…. Did you find a fix?
@@Gbelloo Yes man, with help node (blend poses by bool)
@@bogdaned1tor would you be able to send me an example on discord or email please 😭
@@Gbelloo did you solve it? The gun goes all over the place when ADS 😭

The default template uses -1 as the base axis. Its basically coded inverted, then flipped
i was waiting for this

That's probably due to the animation.
It might be a good idea to either have a less breathing animation, or have it played less fast.
yes go into idle_rifle_ironsights animation and decrease the rate scale value from 1 to something like 0.1/0.15
Thanks so much!
Do you can write values in timeline?
Yes, you can slow down the video speed to see my timeline values.
Pretty cool ha
Thank you for this id Buy you a TV if I could
U can support me on Buymeacoffee if u want lmao
