Hey, I watched your recoil tutorials and so far there are a few things that I would do differently. First instead of using a variable for the post recoil rotation I would just get my control rotation for it. Second, instead of reversing the recoil when I release my mouse, I would divide the delta by the pitch input scale which you can get from the player controller, after that I would have a timeline 0-1 in less than a second, lerp or ease with a as 0 and b as the divided delta, and the alpha is the timeline. Out of the lerp or ease get an add pitch input. This sounds like a lot but it’s only like 5 nodes. It makes the recoil resetting much smoother.
@@polar1991 Hey, do you mind sharing me some screens aswell? I would love to see how you have done it. Ive been trying your solution, it works sometimes but Im sure Im messing something up.
Hey man, great tutorial, I was wandering if there is any way to get the Pitch Threshold value in the code, not just by printing it out, so if i have several weapons it would set for each automaticly?
What if I swap my weapon mid reverse interpolation? Won't that cause a problem since the recoil pattern changed? Plus stopping the movement on weapon swapping would also be an exploit

Thanks, your method works for me :)
amazing, thank you man. Keep de the great work!!!
Great tutorial it helped me so muchh!!
so can you give me the link of where you uploaded this blueprint? thx a lot
running animation of weapons Idle difficult to hold the sight
The only problem I have with this solution is the recoil doesn't perfectly reset when you fire in short bursts - any ideas on how to solve this?

Thank you for uploading earlier
