A nice little runner, it just goes to show even these little budget models can have a place and are not just simple toys.

It's down to a better gear, and an extra suppressor as we know the early ones were known as "Pocket Rockets", these ones are just right for the job, cheers Mark

Thanks Kevin, I have an idea that may help, if you are able go to your local TESCO, buy a box of mini flapjacks, eat said flapjacks, and use the panels of the container for your uncouplers, its a win/win situation, you may also find it useful to pin one end of the strip of plastic, it will make it easier to gauge how much height you need to clear the axles without hopping. if it helps I can do a short video to try and explain how mine are fitted, cheers Mark
@@Markintheshed Hi Mark, I was thinking the plastic I'm using isn't flexi enough maybe a bit too rigid. I like the flapjack idea I'll give it a go today. Thanks for your help.

Hello Mark . That little loco negotiates the pointwork remarkably well for an 0-4-0 ; nice addition . Although I`m not a follower of the Eastern , I had to buy a few " Gresley Teaks " . It`s difficult not to be impressed by them . Regards . Paddy .

That is some smooth running Captain Slow. How do yoy get an 0-4-0 over what look like Hornby points so well? Great video as usual Mark.
Hi Philip, these have a better pick up system and are geared for slow running. a bit like the Terrier engine, not at all like the older 0-4-0 I have some Peco, and some Hornby points, all are old and I have refurbished them. Stay Safe and take care, Mark

You've got them 0-4-0 running nice over the points, no stuttering at all! Just lucky?
I've provided a link to another video of mine about points, have a look at it if you would, and if after that you still think I'm Just Lucky I'll run some loco's through different turnouts on the layout, and we will see if it's only luck or not. Stay Safe. Mark
