    I haven't had this helmet out in a group yet but it fits my sena quite nice, there is even a place in the chin to mount the mic, cutouts inside as well for the headphones to sit.

    Hey, how did it work with mx goggles? What the hole opening big enough to fit regular goggles or is a smaller googles required? Are you able to close the visor with googles on (for those times when a downpour happens) and did the visor have a space for the google straps to come out the sides? Thanks

      I've got to find a new pair of goggles to answer the fit question, stay tuned.

    Hey Scott,
    Were you able to fit a comm system on it? And if so, did the sun visor toggle interfere with where you mounted it?

      Yes, I did mount a Cardo Packtalk Bold unit, and it took some time getting it positioned. It fit, but, what made me take it back out was the fact that I couldn't hear my friends talking at speeds over 40mph. This helmet has so much ventilation that it creates problems hearing the comm unit. It's a comfortable helmet just not as quiet as I'd hoped.

    So I've been looking at this helmet for a starter adv helmet, and I see your video of you holding the exact same Fly Racing helmet I have XD
    It's been some time since this video, so I'm curious how you've been liking the LS2 since? and have you ridden in much colder weather with it?

      No, I will usually wear my Shoei Neotec when it gets cooler. The LS2 is kind of my off road lid now. It's very comfortable just really loud and let's in a good bit of air. I hope this helps. Ride safe.

    Did yours come with the chin curtain? Looked like it was missing

    Thoughts after a year?

      I think it's a nice helmet for the money. I don't think using a comm system is realistic though. It's just a tad on the loud side. It's comfortable, has a nice eyeport area, and I think the weight is reasonable for the features it has.

      @@tigerrider007 weight was what led me to it. I’ve not seen anything lighter excepting maybe the Klim.

    Did it get quieter with the chin curtain on?

    • @tigerrider007
      @tigerrider007  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not really, I think that it's just a noisy helmet due to its purpose, a motocross lid. Hope this helps.

    Hi! I´m looking for a helmet and this is one of my top picks. Could you tell us if you were able to install ther CARDO packtak bold? this is my only reservation prior to buying this helmet. Yesterday I bought a CARDO packtalk slim and would be furious if it didn´t fit. Thanks! BTW, what is the jacket you are wearing?

    • @tigerrider007

      ggcortinaa, I did manage to get my Cardo Packtalk Bold installed and it works. The installation process was not as easy as my Shoei Neotec but with patience I got it in. You do have some small hurdles, one, the cheek pads are easy to pull out but not as easy to put back in when you have the speakers in the cutouts, two, I chose a boom mic due to the internal sun visor slide mechanism and its audio quality. I had to mount the base ahead of the slider, then positioned the boom mic accordingly inside the helmet and taped it with electrical tape. I'm no mechanic so if I can do it, anyone can. I went for a ride after install and listened to my music on my apple phone, so the next test is actually talking to one of my riding buddies. Here's the issue, I'm not familiar with a Cardo Slim. I assume you could probably install it if I can do a Packtalk Bold.
      The jacket I'm wearing is my summer choice here in Georgia, a hi-viz Klim Induction jacket.
      I hope this helps.

      @@tigerrider007 thank you very much, hopefully I can install it too. My doubt was precisely because of the slider visor mechanism, good to know you can simply install it next to it. Have a great day and a safe ride!

      What's the wind noise like?

    • @tigerrider007
      @tigerrider007  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AZ762SHOOTER after spending some time with the Cardo unit and trying to talk to my group, it's actually kind of awful. I can't hear any words my buddies are saying above 40mph. So, if you plan on running comms you may want to invest in a higher price lid, shoei or arai, due to their quiet natures. I will use this Blaze helmet for my dirt bike. Hope this helps.

    Anyone else feel this helmet has horrible glare at night?

    • @tigerrider007
      @tigerrider007  ปีที่แล้ว

      Never really noticed since I don't ride with it much as I have my other two helmets for more evening time rides, a Shoei and an Arai. I'll try it and see what happens.
