It's almost identical with my LS2 mx436 pioneer evo. The only difference is the chin guard and the pioneer has no DOT sticker. Instead it has ICC and ECE stickers.
These newer LS2 helmets, like the Blaze and Horizon, are actually really nice. The interior has a premium feel to it that older LS2 helmets didn't have. These do seem to run small though, at least with my head shape (on the slightly rounder side of intermediate oval).
You mentioned sena Bluetooth made for ls2 but when I look at them they say it's for a bunch of other helmets but not the blaze. Which one is made for THIS helmet?
At 2:33 in the video where you show the lower side vents and the top vents , can you close and open them as needed or are they always open ? If they are always open if you are riding in the rain will water get in ?
All vents are always open except for that mouth vent at the front which you can close. And water doesn’t really get it in it. I’ve had this helmet for over a year now and has been great except it gets pretty noisy at higher speeds
Congrats on a great video of a great helmet; I have one concern because the video is a little confusing in that aspect. Can I install a CARDO packtalk SLIM (I purchased it yesterday with you and now I´m looking for a helmet). Thanks!
Can you remove the peak alone while retaining the face shield for highway riding? I want not able to put the face shield without having the peak installed as well.
In most cases, yes. Although it really depends on each rider and how their glasses sit on their face (ie how far out). But for the most part yes, glasses under sun visors usually don't have enough clearance.
Disagree. I've worn and tried on many with drop-down visors and none of them interfered with my glasses. Even tried on this one in store today and it was fine with my glasses. I guess it depends on the person.
You absolutely can use goggles! These have a small piece of silicon even to help the strap stay in place. That said, the eyeport is a bit small, so we'd recommend a smaller framed pair of goggles like from the 100% Strata line. I hope that helps! -Zack
I have the LS2 Breaker and was unable to find the Pinlock anywhere. I ordered one directly from Pinlock in the Netherlands. It arrived today (6 days) via DHL. Great service.
The LS2 Blaze is the latest in the Pioneer family here in the US, whereas it still has the Pioneer name in Europe (but isn't DOT certified). They changed the name to differentiate between the helmets that are legal for Europe to use and those legal here in the States. I just got one if these LS2 Blaze helmets in a medium and fits me good but i was wondering if the main shell of the helmets supposed to feel a little on the small side, meaning feeling like the helmet doesnt fully go down on your head? I have a AHR H-VEN35 which is very similar in design and its an XL and fits me well, and the shell feels larger like it covers the front of my jaw area better than the LS2 blaze. Im wondering if i should have gotten the XL for the larger shell and put medium size pads on it. 🧐
I just tried one of these on in store today and had the same first impression: that it seemed short top to bottom and didn't come as low down under my jaw as others I'm used to. However, I'm wondering if that might work out to my advantage for my funky shaped head that nothing else fits. Looking forward to trying it.
How is it in the cold? I've never had one where you can't shut all the intake vents to not let cold air in, so I worry it'll be too cold in winter with those vents in the front sides.
Are the Speaker Cut out inside the helmet small or Normal like other helmet? can they fit any BT intercom or only Sena? (I have a Regular BT Intercom so didn't know if that fits or not... Has normal size speakers)
These are what I would call standard, they may not fit larger options very well but your standard Sena speaker should be just fine. I hope that helps! -Zack
The speaker pockets are a nice addition In this new version, chin curtain is good if it actually kills some of the noise. As much as I love the practicality of a dropdown sun shield, transitions face shield like bell is doing should be default in every helmet ever.
Bell's transition face shield is not perfect however. The chemical coat on the face shield wear of over time and then it just like any regular face shield.
@@huynhxuanviet9818 really? I thought they made the transition coating sandwiched between 2 layers of the shield, like laminated glass. That Shure seems like an oversight from them.
The Ls2 RidePal will fit in this helmet by replacing one of the chin strap covers and sliding in between the shell. Not listed on the compatibility list (that hasn't been updated in a few years), but the components are the same. @@patrickmchugh8039 ok. The only side it could attach to is the right side chin strap. I would like to see you guys do an install video for this helmet please. How it will work with the charging port, and where the tab will slide into the liner and how the wires will be. Thanks

"At this price point" was mentioned four times. Still have no idea what the price of the helmet is. LS2, get rid of the drop down visor and the gimmick ratchet chin strap. Drop a few grams.
You're one click away from the product page. These videos stay on TH-cam forever so they're never going to put the price in the video since they could change.

Verry good review, obviously well detailed. More power to you sir. From your subscriber in the Philippines.

So the Blaze is just a Pioneer EVO but with a different name?
Btw, can I have a link to the Bluetooth communication system for this helmet?
This helmet has a nice profile view.
Would you recommend this helment or oneal sierra 2??
I'm with the same dilemma right now, which one you came out buying ?

Did you ever get the Slim installed on this
Nice helmet. Well priced. Now that I want one, my size is out of stock!

Fuggg I was about to buy this, but the sunvisor lever made that a fail. wtf were they thinking
Lolz yah it's flimsy and on my old Pioneer it broke off. Eventually I just .... grab the sunvisor and pull it down or push it back to open / close.
i just wonder if you could use it for motocross?
yeah about that SENA ....love the helmet but not ready to get rid of my bluetooth
Can you remove the peak alone while retaining the face shield for highway riding? I want not able to put the face shield without having the peak installed as well.
I have an older LS2 Pioneer helmet, but yah I believe you can. I tried that on my Pioneer which is almost identical to this one.
Is this different from the ls2 blaze adventure helment ?
Does the sun visor interfere with glasses at all? Thanks!
In most cases, yes. Although it really depends on each rider and how their glasses sit on their face (ie how far out). But for the most part yes, glasses under sun visors usually don't have enough clearance.

Anyone know where I can buy an extra chin guard for this helmet?
My helmet broke the first ride off road. The shades will only go up but won't go down. Any idea how to fix that?
But can you use goggles like you can with the Scorpion 950?

is there a way to tint the face shield?
We offer tinted face shields for this helmet here!

I’m trying to find a tinted visor for this helmet and was wondering if the ls2 pioneer tinted smoke visor would work? They look very similar.
I know this comment is a year old.
But I’m wondering this also. Did you ever try the pioneer visor?
I know both these comments are over a year old but I too am wondering this, did they work?
