Also if you learn several languages in the same language family you kind of start to understand them all a bit. Like for example in addition to my native language (Finnish) I speak English, Swedish, Norwegian and German, and I can understand Dutch and Icelandic a bit even though I've never put effort into learning them, simply because I know other languages in the same language family.

Im an arab living in sweden and know german, spanish and italian, plus understand all the other nordic languages except finnish. Once you got that variety, for example in my case atleast one language from 3 different language trees, then no phonetics become foreign and i can pretty much instantly repeat a foreign sentence someone says, even if i dont understand it.

I have played since Total War Rome and Medieval 2 and agree, fantasy is more awesome, but they need to stop removing features instead of trying to fix them. Imagine WH2 with sea battles and the ability to set a focus on settlements/regions to be growth, economic or military and then it just auto builds what it believes is best, like in the old games?
