    Thank you for going through this. Great information.
    Could you please share your abs superslicer profile so we can compare them to ours? I am seeing issues that you don't seem to have. Your machine profile would also be useful.

    Klipper changes to [bed_mesh] module
    In an upcoming change to Klipper, the default `bed_mesh` configuration will no longer be automatically loaded at startup. If you are using a `bed_mesh` configuration today then it is recommended to add an explicit `BED_MESH_PROFILE LOAD=default` command to your START_PRINT macro (or equivalent print start commands in your slicer). This change to Klipper is planned for February 1st 2023.

      @@3dPrinterSchool So what will happen, every time I start to print I have to calibrate bed mesh, or I have to load by the g-code?

    • @3dPrinterSchool
      @3dPrinterSchool  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dumdumreviews7436 you can add to your start macro or add it to gcode under machine settings in slicer. I dont use a start macro myself yet i put all my gcode in slicer atm.

    What are you saying about cylindrical objects. Circle is not a circle when printed on a Prusa? You can calibrate the axis steps individually. Actually that is a necessary calibration steps if you want prints that are dimensionally accurate.

    Great overview. How fast were you able to make an ABS profile for the voron?

    • @tadhgd350

      abs prints ridiculously fast, ive got it running 400mm/s at 25k accels. its one of the best speed materials

    Given that the LDO kit is twice the price of the Formbot kit, is the apparent precision and attention to detail offered by the LDO kit significant enough to justify the additional cost, or is the Formbot kit a better value proposition? Seems like paying for upgraded fans, hot end, and motors is not going to suddenly double the price. I've been searching on forums for helpful responses, but they quickly devolve into lackluster discussions.

      I have LDO motors on my ratrig, which is standard on the printer. Compared to my Formbot kit, not a huge amount of difference, running Moons motors on Formbot kit at 1.4amps and the LDO motors at 1.6amps. The Moons motors are plenty fast and accurate. It's more like you want to buy a Hyundai Palisade that is a good SUV with all the basics you need or you want to spend more to get a luxury Mercedes SUV. People with LDO kits are going to swear by it but then again they probably never built a Formbot either. I have built 2 Formbot kits and they are working solid and fast. I also gonna build a Fystec which I got also. My 2 cents on the matter.

    Everybody is talking about voron and speed but how fast can ABS be printed by voron if the material limits are 50mm/s for example. With more material will warp extremely

    • @3dPrinterSchool
      @3dPrinterSchool  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes if abs is printed without an enclosure but voron is designed with an enclosure and enclosure temps stay near 50-60 degree celcius which is why you can print much faster with no warping.

    So, your not using the same profile for all abs surely? I’ve come to understand that the parts themselves aren’t my issue. It’s the damn software and nobody really teaches that one. It seems the only response I get is shoot filament until I figure it out

    I thought about buying one of these but they are too outdated these days. My Bambu can print ABS at 200-300 MM/s. It's good to see that this machine can actually get good results on ABS though. I would consider the Voron 350x350 model if it was cheaper.
