Regards to the spoiler - I personally used 3M VHB 5952F to secure my lip spoiler on my 5 Series. It's litrally the best tape I've used to secure it. I recommend using that before splashing the cash on anything else.

@@TRHamza maybe the ecu can adapt to the low temps, the same way you can feel the power drop through heat soak. I'm no expert just trying to use some logic. We don't know what VW have programmed into the ECU. It takes into account a whole lot of variables.

@@mqbr22all cars have IAT sensods and very wide ecu tables of temperature differences and fuel corrections. Actually tune is never needed, because cars ecu can perfectly compensate in real time without any high delay of lag or etc. Even if IAT shows only few celsius, its in ecu tables :p
I run a stage 1 APR along with an Invidia Q300 catback system. I already equaled a stage 2 Golf R at a drag just with that. Imagine my next bigger intercooler plus bigger inlet turbo elbow, heat insulation cover on the turbo and exhaust, minus the rubber engine cover and the 15 kg spare wheel will do? I be expecting up to 25 hp plus maximising my total available hp more readily than before with an oem intercooler. I should be nearing the 400 hp mark with my mk 7.5. 👍😉
Probably increases it stage 1 are known for an increase in mpg and the intercooler providing more dense air will also make it more efficient thus increasing mpg.
Hi Ade, I put a Wagner Tuning Intercooler on my S3 8p and it made a difference, especially when tuned to Stg2+. It's weird watching my intake temps when flooring it and the temps are going downwards. I do have water meth as well but turn it off to see the effect of the IC on temps
5% increase. Its good result and very health for engine :) Also it should increase remap potential a bit more and must have much better benefit in very hot days :)

Interesting engineering decision to put the FMIC behind the A/C condensor. Normally the other way around, would make more sense to do it this way, especially in a performance car. RS3 has it directly at the front, as do Mitubishi Evos and countless others. If it works it works I guess.
Is it really effective? I want to add an intercooler to my AUDI s3 8Y 2022 but I only want to do stage 1 does it really help or is necessary to add it and does it add more HP to my car ?

How did you find the fitment and also what is the core size? I have a pumaspeed 65mm core on my octavia vRS mk3 (ea888) and im finding the fan surround is practically touching the engine, with no adjustment the mechanic reckons. so contemplating removing and getting an airtec which is 60mm
I have the do88 ic on my vrs mk3.5 good fit had to adjust the side mouldnings in front of the ac condensor, the flappy ones on the side. Performes very well with the garrett powermax turbo

Does doing the down pipe make the car no longer road legal in the uk? I have a Golf r but want a better sound from the exhaust but worried about messing with the pf
Downpipe makes no difference to the car being legal, you only need a larger pipe if you're going stage 2 & above If you just want more noise you should delete the resonator, Easy cheap & sounds great

Temperatures are a lot lower with a intercooler fitted so you can map higher boost on the turbo.

Hamza does it make a difference if you only change te intercooler and leave the stock hoses . Or do you get more power with the silicon hoses.
Will probably end up hitting close enough to the top end of 400 maybe even hit 500 with a decat and opf delete.

I had a stage 1 & mpg actually improved,
I'm at stage 2 now can still achieve 40mpg on the motorway but about 12mpg on A&B roads 🤣🙈

There are fmic form the mqb but they're not as big as the mid ones so a factory fit upgrade is best for performance as seen on mk7 platform

The gel 3M tape is garbage what you used on the spoiler any water lifts it off
