The grand finals of Transcendence League was a great show of top level Wipeout gameplay from amazing players. Check out the links in the description for their respective channels!
I completely agree. However, I think that you are a highly skilled Redout player as well. That game is different but requires a lot of dedication to race at your level!
It’s great to see that this tournament was as successful as it was, and the world definitely watched. Glad to see a wrap-up video being shown though Erik! Great explanation of things! 🏁 I can’t say I was happy at all about my performance though during the final, I’ve done so much better before and I wished I was near as good as the others nowadays, and I’m definitely embarrassed watching it back. I’m surprised I landed 2nd if I’m honest haha! Oh well. At least the others put on a good show! 😄 Well done to all contenders! Been fun! See you on the other side!
Thanks a lot! I everybody is their own worst critic but I think you're selling yourself a bit short. I actually hand-picked a couple of races from the stream for this video where you put on a great performance. Can't remember exactly which races but one was where you slaughtered everybody's Feisar Prototype with your Feisar Speed and another was with Icaras on Phantom speed class I think.
Of course, I would love for these tournaments to have more exposure. I really love how Transcendence brought many different Wipeout players together. Thanks a lot for providing us with top level gameplay and congratulations to your first place!
That is very true, I'm really impressed by how good some players are at this game. I may have asked this before but did you play Omega Collection too? It would be awesome to play the game together sometime :)
Dafuq? Wipeout is still around???? Holy shit I need to go and download this NOW. I used to pine over these games back when I was a wee little psycho. edit: Wipeout XL was my original favorite
It sure is still around! The player base has dwindled over the years of course but you can still find online lobbies which I'd say is quite impressive considering how old the game is and that it almost completely lacks online progression.
Probably not :) I still think Wipeout sells the illusion of being an actual sport though. I guess it has something to do with how the races are presented and all the made-up sponsors.
The training the pilots would have to go through would be insane by our standards, that's for sure! 😅 But HD Fury does take place in the 23rd century, so its possible training and tech like this is common practice by then

Wipeout players are just built different. And the level of mastery from these guys is insane to watch.

thanks for the shoutout, this tournament was a blast!
No worries at all, thanks a lot to you as well for all the hard work you did with the tournament while competing in it at the same time!
Maybe the Paragons were the friends we made along the way 😔
Awesome video as always 👏🏻
Thanks a lot! And thank you for providing me and the viewers with your highly skilled gameplay!
It’s cool to see you made a video covering this, hopefully future events will have more players join with more publicity like this

🔥🔥🔥🔥💯
If Wipeout was a real life sport the drivers could not handle constant bumping about and extreme g forces.😵💫🤢🤮😵
I don't think so - ever heard about red bull air race? 😅
