Can't tell you how much I related to the beginning - realising how hard A+ challenges were and slowly getting through each one after lengthy breaks 😂. Awesome video! It's great to see wipeout content persisting despite evermore dwindling hope of a new game
Thanks a lot! Glad I'm not the only one who struggled with them :) I very much enjoy making content about the game and I'm also really impressed with how dedicated the community surrounding the game still is.
on the A+ challenges, the speed ships are basically the only ones where its doable for a normal players, taking the AG-sys makes it significantly easier too. its very twitchy and hard to control at first, but just like Erik, you can master it and become SO much faster.
Love your video you are a pillar of this community in my mind and have gotten me back into ag racing games. Bng is my favourite at the moment so some videos on it would be awesome.
Wow, thanks a lot! I'm super happy to hear my channel brought you back to AG Racing. More BNG content is definitely on the table. The game has been out for quite a few years now so I'm thinking a bit about how to get a unique angle on the game.
Thanks, I'm very happy to hear it! I'm not saying it's impossible to complete them with Qirex prototype but I'm not saying it's the easiest ship to do it with either :)
I remember trying these on my ps vita a long time ago, I think I just picked the easiest maps for the feisar prototype. That got my around 3 elite passes. To think this is basically the only "endgame" challenge in the entire wipeout series! Wish the older games had stuff like this, it's super satisfying to finally feel like you've finally mastered the game.
Apparently, Feisar Prototype is the top tier ships on certain tracks. And you're right, the A+ Challenges really gives you an endgame feel! They are there for people wanting to take them on but you can still feel like you've sort of completed the campaign if you leave them be.
A+ elite passes were brutal, additionally the one Qirex Eliminator challenge with their prototype ship was a royal pain. That one took me a bunch of attempts.
I agree, some events in the 2048 campaign are WAY more difficult than the others. The once you mentioned and quite a few of the zone events as well if you ask me. Glad you found a strategy to complete them!
@@AGRacingCentral My favorite race in 2048 once i got it down was Altima 7 at A+ and zone. By zone 80-90 it gets nearly impossible to side shift, but if you learn the track line you can last quite a long time, and get far into the Mach 1 speeds.
No, there sure are some tough challenges in this game. Sorry for the late reply btw, I had to take a brake from TH-cam for various reasons but I'm currently plowing through my backlog of comments I haven't responded to :)
Yes it is, even though the game of course originally came out on the Vita. I am however relatively sure you'll get the same level of performance on a first gen PS4 as you do on a PS5 (except for the option of playing in 4K which I never do anyway).
@@AGRacingCentral thats why I was asking. I was thinking how the omega collection would look like in 4k. Maybe even 60frames. I think the ps5 should be able to run the game at 60frames and not drop down to 30frames.
Thank you for watching! Feel free to share a comment about how you experienced the A+ Challenges in Wipeout 2048.

Thanks a lot for your comment, I remember when we discussed this and you told me the AG Systems Speed was the way to go :)
Cool!
