Go the steak! Hot tip boys, get your old munted hole saws and grind the teeth off on the linisher and then grind a cutting edge onto the hole saw and then use that in your drill as a hole cutter instead of stuffing up sockets, also use some 1/4 steel bar / rod with a point ground on the end instead of the pilot drill to make it easy to find the hole and it also doesn’t chew stuff up and do the same with some old munted screwdrivers when you start fitting trims with carpet underneath. Hope this helps boys! Keep up the great work!

I did a car restoration course at TAFE about 30 years ago. The head panel beating teacher, who was the best craftsman I have ever met, showed us how to fill a good section the back of those chrome mouldings with solder or brass braising metal. Then by sliding it along the moulding he could knock out the dents without damaging the chrome.
Hey from Blighty 🙂 Option for the damaged exterior chrome trim: powder-coat chrome now exists. Fill the pits with a conductive filler (I’ve seen JB Weld work), smooth and key the thing, then powder-coat as normal. Sounds crazy but bakes to a mirror shine and can be polished. Pretty new process so I have no idea on durability of the coating - but it’s maybe an option for irreplaceable trim parts 🙂 Always looking forward to your next vid 😎🤟🏼
My mum had a crown when i was 16 i can remember it well. It was a bit different though it had red bench seats in the front and back, the motor blew up and it went to the tip. This series will bring back some memories. Hope you have the dash cluster cause i cant remember it. Red rooter for the win!

The boys were talking about 79 series bonnet bulges, reminded me of the other old school trick back in the day for supporting high rise manifolds, was grafting TC Cortina bonnet bulges. Hope they find a good fit.
Definitely Steak and Chips! Thats what i call some serious sound insulation!! Make sure you seal the doors well to stop any wind noise to really appreciate all your hard work..... Looking Epic as always guys.

You don't always need a regulator. Go by sight, read the paint. And valspar do a great direct to metal paint that's user friendly and great shine... yes I'm a spray painter haha
I'm a plumber by trade and my first big job that was mine to take care of was a 500 room hotel outside London (aurora) and I was shitting myself and I got the best advice from a more experienced guy who said " all a big job is, is lots of little jobs." Once I took that in and understood what he was getting at from that day forward I never felt anything was too vast a job for me.

You need to do the inside of the door skins. Lost of noise comes in there and it will help the sound system. Assuming you can hear the stereo over the big block.
