- Christina grew up in an abusive home in the south side of Chicago. She had a chaotic childhood which eventually led her down a career path to social work. After fostering a little girl, Christina's past traumas came flooding back in a way that she couldn't ignore.

Childhood PTSD is a growing diagnosis. It explains alot in relation to conditions such as long term depression and anxiety. Healing this can take time.

You can always get better. You can do anything you want in life. This illness doesn't stop you, you're the one stopping yourself, and it's okay to be scared and depressed. It's okay if recovery isn't a straight line and that you still have rough times, like me. The goal is to be overall better, this is not impossible for you to achieve. 👊

Im about to adopt a child. I have read his file and he has alot going on for someone who is so young. I am a social worker as well and deal with child Trauma. I really connect with her in some ways . Im trying to think of all the ways my child will test me the way she tested you. Thank you for sharing this!

Giving Joy is the best way to receive Joy. Giving help to someone who needs help is the best way to help yourself. Even though Patty no longer lives with you, I believe you could still call her your daughter if that is what you feel in your heart.

What a moment. It should be written down for artists to bring to life on a stage, or onscreen. This is a wonderful human moment.

no offence to the subject matter but it seems like acting to me.
It's practiced so the message flows and is coherent. Most people would choke up or cry or react and make it difficult for the listener to understand. It's not fake, the emotions are controlled. That's part of mass communication I think.
@@MrNightpwner Maybe you are right...I don't know...just a feeling that this is fake. If this is indeed fake, just imagine how many other videos they make are actually fake. It is not impossible for someone to do this just to get views/money. Maybe it is a real story and they paid the actress to perform the narration...I don't know.
@@johnypanta6208 I agree. I was thinking that they might be delivering a story by someone else. Doesn't mean it's not as good thought I think. These stories still means a lot to people, at least to me. Regardless of who is telling it.

Sara Rachelle she could of written a monologue for her story. It's not fake.
Obviously she’s wrote her story down before this. Her words are her own and she’s telling it in a structural fashion because she’s written it down beforehand if she’s going to be recorded
