ETA will make out it’s the best thing since slice bread and find no faults with it
I prefer the retro handheld videos than 7840HS or 8840U ones
fr fr
Exactly. This guy’s paid reviews are getting out of hand, and I can’t stomach another 780m review. “Oh look, here’s the best $700-$1000 handheld this week.”
@@bleeb1347 you don't have to watch them you know
@@GoatV8 good one, mate! Put that together with both your brain cells? Because I want to comment on his greed and the fact that he no longer gives honest opinions and the fact that he pushes his viewers to buy absolutely terrible products because he’s getting paid to shill them….I’m the problem? Or maybe it is people like you who are the problem. The silly people who just like to see the same product over and over again at the same price points that don’t make any financial sense, that he’s convincing you to buy because he’s getting paid to not tell you the long list of cons about the product. Stop jerkin it to the sound of his voice and compare his old videos where he gave an actual opinion about the products instead of taking a $3,000 - $6,000 check every day to record what basically amounts to an advertisement for an absolutely horrible product.
@@GoatV8 guy gets a $3,000 - $6,000 check to record an advertisement for a product that makes zero sense for most people without revealing a single negative thing about it, and I’m the problem? This isn’t an advertising channel, it’s a tech channel. Get your priorities straight, watch his old videos where he gave balanced reviews on all the hardware and software. He changed for the worse, like most TH-camrs, the money went to his head, and he doesn’t care about his audience anymore.
For everyone saying in the comments that this device should have analog sticks - just buy the Anbernic RG35XX H. It’s basically the same device, but slightly larger, same chip, same form factor but with dual analog sticks, wifi and Bluetooth for around 20 bucks more.
Analogue sticks are stupid. For small devices, emulating low-powered consoles, buttons are perfect.
MVSC2 playable on a mini portable for under $50? SOLD!!!!!
Just ordered my Lava Orange!
Bet he likes it
He likes everything
He should because it works well. You guys are just cynical posers.
@@johnmichaels4330 he has never criticised a product not one
@@johnmichaels4330 If you look at many of his videos, he's not overly critical of anything. And if it is, it's usually pretty small. The way he shows himself, he's more of an advertiser than a critical reviewer.
@JimmyCougar he isn't a critical guy. Read some of his posts. He just reviews things and tells you what they might be good for. Sometimes he tells you when you probably wouldn't want to use the item. The items all work for their own purposes. He doesn't do Temu items that don't work so what would you expect? An Rpi is excellent if you need gpio and a great community. A Jetson is great if you need the power. A mobile GPU will work for what it is intended and none of them will give you the AAA gaming experience of an Alienware desktop. All of it works so there isn't anything to be critical of. Same with the mini hand helds. Maybe those of us who games on the original game boy, just don't expect as much and are amazed at what these little things do.
Thank you for the first look
When I can get one of these for around $30, I will grab it, at $30, I will just put in pocket with my keys and if breaks, I would not care, pull out the SD cards and buy another but, at $50, i would take care of it.... and plenty of other devices I can do that with.
Neat device for what it offers at the price point.
METAL RG28XX WHEN???
Oh man. I’d order that in a heartbeat if they could get it around $75
I just got my Rg5xx h. Awesome little device!
Yep, and I love it with Batocera!
Ok ANBERNIC, where the heck is that clamshell?!
Love this review and definitely picking up 1-2 of these lol. I will say the scan line and grid effects darken things way too much for my taste. Retro arch has better options and lots of core and system customization.
Remind me the Dingoo A320. My first portable emulador😃
This reminds me of the RS97 in a good way.
ive been wanting a GB micro/gba form factor. this seems like a good middle ground
Definitely use the Retroarch version of everything. Don’t use the other option, you will get worse performance and almost no option to play with.
Its so small. This could be fun, but i cant see playing for very long at one time.
Everything in general is the most exciting handheld to you! Lets go!!!
Omg, I'm totally liking this one, but damn it they didn't do a gradient color like the RG280M that I could replace this with. I love my RG280M but its hardware and performance is outdated and weaker. So, I really want something just like it but better hardware. This would be the one, but I really want the gradient color too... uugghhhh
I prefer it all
Reminds about powkiddy q90. Would buy just for hdmi. I just need to w8 for more colours .
Hopefully it comes with a free screen protector :)
ETA Will it do Shredder's Revenge?
I can never get Arkanoid to work properly on any of these little devices unless I’m doing something wrong or if there’s some settings that I need to adjust I just can’t get it to work
I never understand the point of increasing the power of these devices. No sticks means most of the 3D games are terrible to play.
More acurate emulation is a good reason, however, most people dont really care about that
Unfortunately most not handheld games will be unplayable because of screen size.
Thank you for great videos
If they make a game&watch style color or overlay for it, i ll definately buy one
No stick, what a missed opportunity.
I totally disagree. Sticks make handhelds a pain to pocket. I'm glad they stuck with decisions that make it super portable.
Without joysticks there is no poiut for this machine to emulate N64 and DC. PS1 is a stretch (you are missing out on Ape Escape), but overall is a big miss. Waiting for a revision.
Please review r36s
Why android phone cant installed linux based os like emulec or os in this device
Wish you could buy them without pirated games in them. It says 5155 games included or some nonsense in each of their descriptions. I just want a nice small box of emulators cause then I can get the roms from the old carts myself. But since it seems like it’s illegal goods I won’t. Kinda sucks.
So, mine just arrived, but with no N64 emulator. Any idea how to add it?
I like the portability but my optometrist will yell at me
I get a 404 error when I try to go to the link
I got mine today, and it stopped working properly the second day. I'm trying to reboot it, but none of the buttons I press seem to be working.
Change the sdcard
You are a master in clickbait titles
What’s clickbait about this?
@@Sepharite The whole title
@@LuisPerez-5 literally none of it. It's small, cheap, and powerful for its size.
Can't believe how nasty the comments are here. What did ETA do to deserve viewers like you?
@@derp195 Write clickbait titles. The hyperbole gets old.
@@LuisPerez-5 You won't explain which part is hyperbole because you can't. It's "low cost" hyperbole, or is it not ultra portable? You're complaining about nothing.
No analogs or WiFi/BT
No sticks but 4 shoulder buttons was an odd choice
Adding sticks makes it way less pocketable, but adding both shoulder buttons doesn't negatively affect it. This is made to be small and portable, and sticks would make it worse at that.
Naaahh, to small🤏😝
Delta’s going to take a bite out of the market for these portables.
A sideways DMG, interesting design Lmaoo
Anbernic RG Retro handhelds are a nice handhelds, but i'm more interested for a Handheld gaming pc devices like Steam Deck Oled. By the way love the Reason there is a Nintendo 2DS XL on the Video's thumbnail. I still have my own 2DS XL, but a black and blue colored version. That white and orange version looks cool too. 😮😊
So he should just make 4-5 videos a year then?
NAI-YO-ME 😂
😁😁😁👍👍👍
My eyes will get crossed real fast with a screen THAT small. Can't possibly enjoy anything. Nu-uh.
Didn’t have a GBA? :/
@@lorddeecee No, I did not. The closest I have ever had was PowKiddy Q90. That's the moment I found out I love some GBA games, like the Golden Sun series. But I couldn't deal with the screen size. It actually hurt my eyes and head. Sold it not long after. The smallest screen I can deal is on PS Vita and Retroid Pocket Flip, which I keep.
Now I play retro games on an 8 inch Alldocube tablet with Gamesir X2 Type c, and on M1 Mac Mini.
To small of a screen and no sticks to play things like N64 and the like, not worth it in my opinion.
horrible power button placement
First
ur videos r too bright, unwatchable for me
Oh another Nintendo style. Boring.
Why do you hype up everything? Do you just like it all because this thing is literal e-waste garbage lol
Why watch and comment if you don't enjoy the way he makes videos?
The people who will buy this will use it for GB, GBC, GBA. So how is this e-waste? By the way, how many more videos will you make on the same subject = R4 cards?
Why and who needs it?
There's RG35XX H
