Typically the purpose of the ebook reader is to be able to read FAQs or guides on the games being played :) I haven't used it myself, but that's how I've seen people use it before.
That would be an awesome feature if it was more functional, but it's not very practical in this case because you have to close the game to be able to open the e-reader. But I hadn't even thought of that use, it sounds pretty cool.
I really like this thing, even with its shortcomings. It’s a cute one to take in the go. Thanks for this review, I always love hearing everyone else’s perspective on these things. Ugh, I love how the dmg gray looks. Can’t wait to get mine in the mail.
I love micro handhelds. You can play it anywhere and it's so easy to carry around. I hope I can get one in the next ali express sale. Great video my friend! ✌🏻
The 35xx has more features and is more comfortable to hold for longer play sessions, between the 2 I would only recommend the 28xx if someone specifically wants a smaller device.
@@AishTalksTech NGL I just want another 3:2 Handheld with Linux. Also I want the Volume Wheel back not on every Handheld but definitely on some of them.
I bought mine specifically for N64 and so far I haven't been disappointed,...once I learned that you have to put N64 games into the device before the emulator will show up,...as mine looked like it didn't come with it at first. Its not the best handheld out there, as its basically just a replacement for the Trimui Smart, but I do like it,...though I would have liked a 286m a lot more. 😁
It does a decent job at N64, I just didn't want to give the impression that it's great for it. I'm surprised Anbernic isn't adding any N64 games for it but they ship it with some PSP titles.
@@AishTalksTech Say,...how did you get DS on this device? I didn't see a roms folder for it, and when I tried adding one for NDS no emulator showed up.
@@lookingforwookiecopilot if you go to the system settings you can open RetroArch and select load content. The core for DS is already installed in the system, it just doesn't link to the main OS.
Thanks for this video- was thinking of trying the RG35XX H- but want something more pocketable and this unit will hit the spot , I know it’s not guaranteed I’m hopeful for better DS emulation - there are so many Mario Kart Romhacks that I would absolutely love to play on the go, and this would double this devices value to me.
Glad you enjoyed it. Like I said in the video if you want DS custom firmware is the way to go, it's running full speed on Knulli the only issue was the button mapping but I'm sure that'll be fixed on the official release.
@@AishTalksTechI never replied to this- but I can confirm with Knulli CFW - Mario Kart and its Romhacks like CPGT Nitro work great! I’ve also tested Save states and increased resolution work as well!
@AishTalksTech I had a steam deck if I really want that on the go. The miyoo is 100% for nes, snes and gameboy-gameboy advance for me. I have an rg35xx somewhere around here. Miss placed it before I could set it up.
@@AishTalksTech I realized it only supports .txt, so not great for reading ebooks but would be good to put a bunch of guides/passwords/walkthroughs/cheat codes there!!
the device has the classic RG35XX color option but the device to me is mid, because it doesn't have analog sticks I can say it is ok and N64 is good since the D-pad is small but the device is really small for me, I think the device in-general was made for kids and adults with small hands.
Personally I'm ok without a joy stick, it really comes down to what someone wants, for quick pick up a play on systems that don't need a dpad I think it's fine. There's also the 35xxH for people that want the joysticks.
Hi Aish thank you for the video. I added some psp games and some stutters how do we change the graphics and etc. any hoot im happy you are on RH Stubbs channel. You guys are great keep up the great work. Love Mondays Fyi I love my creamsicle🧡🤍🕹️
Thank you I love being a part of RH 😁 Once you're in the game open the quick menu and go to options, there you can adjust the resolution and turn on frame skip. You can also try turning on skip GPU readback, but some games will need it or they'll crash. Unfortunately PSP is going to be rough until until we get an update or CFW, but even then it won't be ideal.
😅😅Aish, I love how we think the same way since we both loaded up the Anbernic 28XX trailer on the device. Great review!
It was too handy to not take advantage of 😂
Time to go watch some tech dad!

Anber-ception. It’s a 28xx inside a 28xx (inside Rob’s PlayStation).

It is! Hopefully we get some new updates soon.

I'm so happy to see you have your own channel!! Cheers 🍻

They make an awesome companion to a big play on the couch handheld or even a home console, and thank you I appreciate it.
Looking forward to have mine, I think I'll be clocking a decent amount of time on it exactly because it'll be such a small footprint to carry around!
I'm surprised how much I'm linking this little thing
Great vid Aish!
Thank you
How did you get Knulli working? I've tried flashing the alpha onto an SD but it doesnt do anything when I turn the 28XX on?
Did you format the SD card to FAT32?
@@AishTalksTech
Turns out it was a Balena Etcher issue, once I changed to Rufus it worked without problems!
What are your favorite rk3566 handhelds, Aish?
353v and rgb30 honorable mention to the 353m and powkiddy rgb10 max 3, I've never had those 2 but I've heard great things.
hi, wanna ask about comfortable between RG28XX and RG35XX H, which one do you think is better?
The 35xx has more features and is more comfortable to hold for longer play sessions, between the 2 I would only recommend the 28xx if someone specifically wants a smaller device.
Which custom OS do you think will enable me to play a port of Stardew valley on my 28xx?
I believe both MuOS and port Knulli have postmaster support, but I'm not sure what games are compatible yet.
Bring back the Volume wheel and 3:2 screens!!!
I'm still waiting for the perfect 3:2 device, maybe I should pick up a ktr1 and try it out.
