Hi Paddy Now we watching your video every night ☺️Me, My husband, My son we are in the uk but iam Thai. Your video fantastic we wacthing from frist video tonight we wacth koh Phangan and we will wacth all of them we will be in Phuket then Udonthani and Bangkok in August wish you have a happy life 👍
The scenery is so beautiful, the people are friendly and hospitable, Vietnam's political security is still at the top of the world. In Vietnam, going out on the street is free and free, nothing to worry about.
We are following your journey in Vietnam. We are returning for our second trip in early August and will ride the loop in late August. My wife and I love Vietnam. It's much better than we had ever imagined. We visited Sapa in 2019 on our first trip. Our 75inch 4k tv is really coming in handy watching your videos.
Love your work Paddy......I"m a 71yo retired school teacher, and done a fair amount of travel and teaching in my later years in Asia.. I'm so impressed with your style and technique in producing these videos. You have a natural, easy approach to it....I like your self-deprecation and humility especially. I know China and Thailand quite well, but you are now giving me a lovely 'Paddy-styled' insight into Vietnam....such great inspiration for me to replicate your travels...I'm sure it'll be my next adventure...thanks mate!
Tôi là người Việt Nam. Chúng tôi rất vui mừng chào đón Bạn đến với Đất nước của chúng Tôi. có nhiều cảnh đẹp, đồ ăn ngon, còn người cực kì thân thiện,.....
Many foreigners still think that Vietnam is a boring , poor , devastated country . Just come here once and you will discover an unbelievably nice country with friendly people , good food and gorgeous landscapes . If you like comfort , modernity , big shopping malls , massive concrete buildings , organized road traffic , go to Singapore , Thailand , Malaysia or Indonesia . But if you love nature , stunning sceneries , authentic people , affordable cost of living , so opt for Vietnam
I travelled around Vietnam 17 years ago. It’s one of my favourite countries. You are pulling me back there with this trip. I have to go back. The people and the scenery, unbeatable.
Hello - subscribed. The views of Vietnam are magnificent. Your Vietnam adventure is no doubt much better than your Thailand tour. The narrow roads in Vietnam are risky, but they make the experience more meaningful and memorable. I love your Vietnam videos so much that I have watched the entire series twice 😍. The ride is just insane. Good luck as you deserve full recognition for the work.
15:52 that slope is called Thẩm mã meaning “horse evaluation” because local people used to take their horses there to train or test their physical strength
Hiya Paddy, I should be sleeping but how can I now?. I love the perks of being a member. You have some balls, Paddy. Riding along the sky path. There is no way I could ever do that. What a beautiful morning. Wow. Epic views. I was thinking the same what if your breaks cut out. You are a legend. Sharing this with us all. I could not do that. I would get nowhere fast. I would be riding slow. I think you are a great driver. I bet your muscles were tense. I felt tense just watching you. The flag pole is beautiful. Epic views. Lovely to see the locals in their colourful clothing. Epic drone footage. Always great to see a bit of Paddy D dancing. You, Paddy, are a master of your craft. Beautiful video. Always good vibes. I can not wait to share this. Brilliant video. Loving watching these next-level adventures. Sorry, this message is so long. It is less than what I first wrote. I pressed send. And my internet went down. So lost it all. Just want you to know I appreciate your content. Thank you for sharing. Have a lovely Friday and weekend.
Tôi là người Việt Nam. Chúng tôi rất vui mừng chào đón Bạn đến với Đất nước của chúng Tôi. có nhiều cảnh đẹp, đồ ăn ngon, còn người cực kì thân thiện,.....
Unbelievable… Yet again you just make us feel we are there with you travelling the roads , feeling the sweet , dirt and the warm feeling of the lovely Vietnamese people . Loving every moment of your travels . Great being a Patreon and seeing these first definitely worth every cent . Safe travels mate and looking forward to seeing your adventures though Vietnam 🇻🇳
I'm just speechless watching this series. The raw unedited segments were the absolute best part, and I loved the subtle nail bitting music deep in the background, which added to the suspense. I don't know what you've done differently or what has changed during this Vietnamseries, but your videos have hit beyond top tier imo!! Just incredible, and enjoying this more than ever!
Tôi là người Việt Nam. Chúng tôi rất vui mừng chào đón Bạn đến với Đất nước của chúng Tôi. có nhiều cảnh đẹp, đồ ăn ngon, còn người cực kì thân thiện,.....
WOW! Every corner and every turn are definitely instagrammable. I have never driven a motorbike, I would hire a local for sure. Ha Giang Loop is absolutely stunning.
Loving the Ha Giang Loop. Those mountains with the deep valleys are just amazing, beautiful and epic views! Love it when you when you take the back roads! Next level for sure Paddy! Hope you have your will in place. Looks way dangerous! The girls all love you mate.
I loved the mountain pass part where you got lost, that's what travel and adventure is all about for me, just winging it and explore the beautiful surroundings.
I' m a new subscriber and I don't think I have seen better videos on you tube .My husband and I went twice to Vietnam loved it ..thank you for sharing ,you are so blessed to be able to do this ..
The original Lung Cu flag pole was built in the 11th century by general Ly Thuong Kiêt , marking the frontier line between China and Vietnam . It was the warning to the Chinese not to trespass that line Yes , if you want to do the complete tour of Vietnam from North to South , you have to start from Lung Cu and go down South till Phu Quoc Island , passing by Ca Mau , the most in-land South point of Vietnam , then take the ferry to reach Phu Quoc Island , currently one of the must-go touristic spot of Vietnam
Wow. Stunning, splendid, unreal, phenomenal, superb, wonderful, my favorite..resplendent, sublime, bewitching, marvelous, magnificent, exquisite those should could keep you going for awhile Paddy and they v all apply to this place!
I believe it’s calling Mã Pì Lèng pass one of most beautiful things in the northwest Vietnam, the three rest pass are Ô Quy Hồ( Between Lào Cai and Lai Châu), Khau Phạ ( Mù Cang Chải - Yên Bái), and Pha Đin Pass( Between Sơn La and Điện Biên). Hope you are safe and enjoy its all!
I came to Vietnam with no plan. Thank you for your videos. I’m now in Ba Be and gonna head out bright and early in the morning to hit this loop. Your work is very much appreciated.
We were wondering if you were going to SaPa but I see its 250 km away from Ha Giang. We were in SaPa over 10 years ago, and back again to Viet Nam a couple years after that. I cannot believe how built up SaPa is after seeing other travellers recent YTs. Great travelling with you! Such a lush beautiful country. The scenery, the people and sense of danger we might feel watching you navigate the cliff-side roads, or tracks as they some times turn into. What is amazing is that the Vietnamese people scooter and walk those winding roads and pathways everyday. Those mountains and lush green valleys must alter one's perspective of life. I remember the Vietnamese as happy and friendly people. I don't often recommend books but have you read The Beauty of Humanity Movement? Set in Ha Noi, it centres around Hung who cooks/sells the most delicious pho. Beautiful story.
Paddy, I highly recommend getting a "Garmin Montana 750i" I use one when traveling abroad on a motorbike. They are a little spendy but it's well worth it. Loving the new series. Vietnam is by far the most amazing country I've been to. I look forward to more amazing content soon!
Paddy, our son is doing the loop right now as well, it’s almost like we are with him watching your videos, thank you. I think you have found your happy place.
I am 71 years old. I really enjoy your vidios. I have been to Thailand 4 times and to return later this year. I am loving your Viet Nam adventure. I watch a lot of you tubers and you are the best of the lot. Keep this up as you have become great at this.
Yes Paddy - please make sure to include Phu Quoc island in your journey - as it is truly the southern most point. Think of it a a semi rural version of Phuket - with pockets of developed tourist areas - even one with an entire Italian seaside village with the longest overhead cable car, which connects several islands together. It is very nice and you must eat in one of the remote beach towns where the seafood restaurants are on a pier (several restaurants all together over the water). You choose your dinner from the fresh catch of the day - from individual buckets. This seafood was some of the best that I had in my entire life.
Im late to the party and just finished your Thailand series and fly there tomorrow to do an island hopping tour for 3 weeks. Moving onto the Vietnam series now. Paddy, I have to say your mix of content, filming, music, narration really feels like I am on the back of dreamy with you experiencing your adventure real time. Keep it up mate, you are doing a fantastic job of presenting these countries in an honest way.
Yes the view of ha giang loop is fantastic, we was there too one months ago on a 3 days moto trip with our guides. These views are beautiful and memorable. Enjoy the rest of your trip.
I did a portion of this 5 years ago, I was watching for the spot that I applied too much brake on a tight and steep corner, went over the bars and ended up with some bruised ribs, a separated shoulder and a strained Adductor. I managed to continue on and all well worth it in the end, but this trip is certainly not for "entry level" riders.
Hi Paddy, wonderful footage, and a good choice of timing - fantastically green! much more vivid than when I was there - so great to see the place again! It's clearly become a lot more popular since I was there - hardly saw any other Westerners - but it's just as beautiful - every corner brings a new astonishing vista. Thanks (again) so much for sharing this experience.
By far, one of my faves I’ll always remember too! That trail when you got ‘lost’ comforted me greatly and through the cornfields like a green dream 🌟❤️🌟❤️ amazing, your conquering fear! Happy trails my friend🙏🏻❤️thank you
The World's longest glass-bottomed bridge, called Bach Long, in Vietnam has just been opened to the public. It will be super cool and exciting to see you walk on it. Also, Vietnam's world's largest cave, Son Dong cave, is truly incomparable. But, only a handful of people are allowed to visit each year.
HI PADDY, UNBELIEVABLE SCENERY, VIETNAM IS SO BEAUTIFUL, HAD TO WATCH VLOG SEVERAL TIMES TO TAKE IT ALL IN, THE HA GIANG LOOP, EVERY WAY YOU LOOK IS BREATH TAKING, RIDE SAFE MATE, ADRIAN
I just did the loop last week and it was raining in the early morning so that the scene was absolutely heavenly stunning with all the mountains and clouds!
Hello Paddy awesome video love the flag poll this episode I have a drink 🍷while you are riding along the pathway so scary lol. How amazing is Vietnam countryside just out of this world. Thank you Paddy have a great time because I am watching your videos Take Care.
18:35-18:37 I actually 3 words of what the guy said in Vietnamese into the mic. He counted in Vienna "mot hai ba"...which is one two three. There was a word he said after he counted ba (three). I just don't know what that word is as it isn't in my vocabulary.
Hi Paddy Doyle, You will soon run out of visa and have to do what One Pack Wanderers did: Do a border run to neighbouring Laos and get your visa extended at the local Vietnamese consulate. For that, take the Ho chi Minh trail route.
I'm in Vietnam. I used to have a lot of flat tires but my current motorbike has "tubeless tires" which are the wheels with a red stripe around the rim. If I ever get a nail or screw in the tire, it takes a very long time for the tire to go flat -- days. It goes flat very very gradually, giving you plenty of time to get it dealt with. I'm not sure if they have these for Dreams. Mine's a Honda Click, and I think they're standard on this bike. If I had a Dream, I'd definitely see if I could get these.
so beautiful..ive been to the swiss alps and it is very gorgeous but the subtropical vegetations in vietnam is so lush and that made a huge difference for me
You should be on Discovery + an App here in the USA and Canada. But Paddy the scenery is unbelievable. The color of your videos is phenomenal. I watch your Thailand videos while I am waiting for your next Vietnam video. Too bad they don’t make an air ride seat for motorcycles. You definitely need a touring bike.
A few year ago, this roads was soil roads and easy slide in the winter. Now, this concrete road is durable and more safe. Both side of roads is coin field, and the angle of side mountain is more dangerous on the footage
Paddy, those narrow sky paths give me anxiety as you go down them...at the same time, I almost have a desire to look over the edge and was hoping you'd stop and turn your torso a bit so we can see. :) I watched another youtuber do the loop area and he stopped at 2-3 rocks and climbed to the top and pointed the camera down and the view was beyond spectacular. I wish you'd found those rocks. He also went down the river below and took a boat, which gave a unique perspective of the mountains from below. They found a waterfall somewhere that they also jumped off off. And of course, I hope you do the Dinosaur Spine as one viewer mentioned in your previous video.
You talking to yourself reminds me of me talking to myself when i travel solo, unsure and deciding on the go what to do :) very relatable and "same feels". I didnt know if anyone else did that. If they did, they looked awfully quiet while doing so.
I’m extremely proud to see you enjoying and presenting Vietnam so well. The filming and editing are superb and very entertaining. Hope you have a good time in Vietnam 🇻🇳😆😆
“Time to crash” while riding a motorbike/flying a drone but meaning rest/relax/find a place to stay, English, funny that. Great views. It took me a bit to realize how close to the edge of the cliff you were on your left as you were riding through those fields 🙈🫣
Thrilling ride on those paths, which were surprisingly well maintained. No need to apologise for the extended pov ride, I was gripping my chair the whole way, more so in your previous vlog. The scenery is off the scale and thanks to your vlogs I have added north Vietnam to my to do list. Cheers Paddy
Tôi là người Việt Nam. Chúng tôi rất vui mừng chào đón Bạn đến với Đất nước của chúng Tôi. có nhiều cảnh đẹp, đồ ăn ngon, còn người cực kì thân thiện,.....
Wow wow wow! Thank you SO much for sharing your travels with us. My family and I wait in anticipation for your next level adventures! Amazing work Paddy!!
Paddy i hate heights you have my total respect for riding the motorbike at such dangerous heights. Another interesting vlog. Scenery is amazing. I look forward to Ep 8. I
Omg fantastic vlogs paddy I really in my dreams didn't expect Vietnam is something like this, u made it possible bro & d photography haunted in my sleep ,truly u gave vlogging a new dimension now it has set me a new way of watching vlogs classic bro thnx🇮🇳 👍👏👌🙏
As a fellow Thai lover, i just started watching your vids a couple of weeks ago Paddy. I honestly thought you were a Pommy Poof but man o man you have got nuts of steel riding those goat tracks. I was never overly interested in Vietnam until this series and you got me hooked thanks Paddy boy. Keep off the beaten track, you make it the best.
@@TheIslanddiva Glad you asked. The word Pom or Pommy is what most Australians call English folk. It comes from the acronym P.O.M.E (Prisoner Of Mother England) originating from Australia and New Zealand, being English Penal colonies. The slang word Poof in Australia is a man on man lover or someone with girly traits. Many Ozzies hear the Queens English as a little gay. Fyi, balls of steel are what Paddy has disguised as the saddle bags on his bike. Yes they are that big lol.
Hi Paddy - long time watcher, first time commenter. Your production talent this series is awesome! The quality and diversity of camera shots with top notch editing - and of course a winning personality - make this series a pleasure to watch. Give yourself a pat on the back mate!
I love using maps dot me when ‘hiking’ it has served me perfectly in loads of places! Altho you do really do get yourself on the back back back roads ;) lovely scenery, Thanks Paddy!
I thoroughly enjoyed this it was absolutely mesmerizing. It doesn’t seem to matter to me what you’re showing me it’s just all so exciting I just wish I was young again so I could follow your footsteps but thank you for giving me my thrills watching you.
17:07 pretty scary to say the word "crash" when your drone is flying in the sky 😂 Awesome vlog as always Paddy! Cannot wait the visit the Ha Giang Loop myself in 2 weeks 🙏🏾
coming from Kansas, USA we have plenty of cornfields but not on hills. I had no ideal you could grow corn at that elevation. Awesome video! Looks like a fun ride.
Wow! Thanks so much, Paddy! I can't stop watching even though my buttocks is gripping my recliner as you go around these paths with that dropoff so close. Watching makes me want to do this too when I arrive in Vietnam in a couple months but I'm not quite sure if that would be very smart at 65. Thanks though! Great work!
Buy a viettel sim for mobile phone. The bandname viettel is the best for motobike travellers. Viettel signal covers almost of vietnam mountains from north to south.
Incredible video as always. Still can’t believe the person sitting on that ledge 😱 that mountain pass looked both scary and confusing 😂 keep up the good work Paddy
Great video paddy some of those roads look scary but well worth the amazing views. Best part of following your amazing journey is I get to see places I probably would never have seen. Looking forward to the next one 👍😎👌🤝🙏
I travelled around northern Vietnam during the dry season in February. It rained every day. It made me decide you can never avoid a little weather no matter what time of the year you travel. You just have to make the best of it.
Vietnam had very distinct climate across the thinly stretched country. Only the south has dry/wet season, northern Vietnam has all 4 distinguishable seasons...with no dry season in ferbuary ofc because it's spring and like any other countries in northern hemisphere it rains during spring.
Ohh...and if you travel northern vietnam during the winter months, you could expect to see some snow and frost in the high altitude mountainous region...
I was watching the latest video from Tigit earlier (the people whom rent motorbikes in Vietnam) and they had great info on the weather and such. If I recall correctly, he said the best months for northern Vietnam are May through October...greener in the spring and beautiful golden rice fields in the fall.
Knocking this series out of the park Paddy. I loved your use of the ambient drone on first taking the 'walking' route. Created a beautiful tension, an excitement in the drone. Your editing is on these is particularly accomplished, congrats. So engaging. Nailing it my dude. Will be watching, eyes peeled. Be safe.... and u say you're not experienced on the scooter? Ha. Total pro. Blessings 💚 from a fellow filmmaker in Ireland.
We continue on Day 2 of the HA GIANG LOOP. Remember the entire tour of Vietnam is coming at you every 3 days this summer!
Hi Paddy

My goodness, I seriously had no idea that Vietnam was so beautiful!!

Phu quoc island or Nam Diu island is the furthest point in the south of Vietnam and you should visit it too and end your trip in Phu quoc island
Yes Paddy - please make sure to include Phu Quoc island in your journey - as it is truly the southern most point. Nail biting thriller ride Paddy. Extraordinary countryside. Something about the "children of the corn".

I enjoyed the narrow rides pls put as much of your footage
I can't wait to do it mate, watching your trip makes me all more excited to do it
Amazing, Paddy. This is what people want to see. Wow.
Booked in for tonight, Paddy Doyle in Vietnam,👍👍best vlogger on youtube.

Keep off the beaten track, you make it the best.
what's a Pommy Poof ?
@@TheIslanddiva Put nicely - a "girly man".
Tôi là người Việt Nam mà vẫn chưa được đi Hà Giang. Phong cảnh đẹp tuyệt vời
Wow! What an adventure! Paddy, you not only captured beautiful Ha Giang Loop views you made me fear for your safety. Stay safe!
Hi Paddy - long time watcher, first time commenter. Your production talent this series is awesome! The quality and diversity of camera shots with top notch editing - and of course a winning personality - make this series a pleasure to watch. Give yourself a pat on the back mate!
Thanks Danny
I love using maps dot me when ‘hiking’ it has served me perfectly in loads of places! Altho you do really do get yourself on the back back back roads ;) lovely scenery, Thanks Paddy!
I thoroughly enjoyed this it was absolutely mesmerizing. It doesn’t seem to matter to me what you’re showing me it’s just all so exciting I just wish I was young again so I could follow your footsteps but thank you for giving me my thrills watching you.
Wow, thank you!
awesome Paddy! Made my heart stop a few times LOL
lol
I absotely love the 17 km. walking path through mountains. Magnificent. Hope there's something like this in thailand.
Finally catching up on your videos after a few busy months. Keep up the good work!
Great work!
Cảm ơn mọi người đã yêu quý cảnh đẹp của Việt Nam ❤️❤️
Buy a viettel sim for mobile phone. The bandname viettel is the best for motobike travellers. Viettel signal covers almost of vietnam mountains from north to south.
I’m loving it Paddy ,I’m going next week July 16th,can’t wait ,good luck have fun and be careful
Again, wow! Insanely impressive landscape and makes for fantastic viewing. Thank you Paddy for another great video 😁
My pleasure!
Without a dought and even before you have started your tour, Paddy, it's quite clear that Vietnam is a stunning country.
.... and .... some times even much more crazy ... dear Paddy .... !
Omgggg my heart stopped for a second on that crazy turn 😳😳😳😳
Incredible video as always. Still can’t believe the person sitting on that ledge 😱 that mountain pass looked both scary and confusing 😂 keep up the good work Paddy
Stunning Paddy, thumbs up. Incredible scenery, great to watch, let alone being there. One day...
Thank you for all the effort to show us this awesome place on Earth!
Paddy - you deserve way more credit for your skill!
Great video paddy some of those roads look scary but well worth the amazing views. Best part of following your amazing journey is I get to see places I probably would never have seen. Looking forward to the next one 👍😎👌🤝🙏
So beautiful scenery.
Ha. Total pro. Blessings 💚 from a fellow filmmaker in Ireland.
excellent videography quality (one of the best i've seen) colograding is top notch and very natural
You win!
I could never ever ride that skinny little path, at least without soiling my nappies!! 555
hahaha
You are crazy man. This looks dangerous on the edge of cliff. Safe travels man.
Really enjoyed the extra bike tour.. that road was amazing!
