The green. The GREEN! The WONDERFUL green! I'm in drought-ridden southern California and oh how I miss the green!
It's also good that you show the stuggles involved in putting together quality videos thrice a week. Even on a normal day it's enough of a grind staying on top of all the equipment (making sure everything is charged, formatted, installed, working, packed, etc.), getting the proper shots, and putting it all together in post, but then add the aches and pains that come with slogging through extensive road travel ... I really hope viewers' appreciation for what you do and how well you do it rises to "next level".

That temple immediately gave me peace and serenity. Being in the middle of nowhere give it that blessing feeling so when you enter you can feel it. Tourist temples don't have this kind of vibe. Thank You

Land of fabulous massages-so I hear! I would avail myself nightly lol. Outdid yourself again with those waterfalls! It appears the lava flows are smooth, which, being from surrounded by them here in Arizona, mostly reddish and brown and very rough. I’m assuming the rainfall and moisture effects it differently than super dry Arizona. Oh Paddy that temple was serene and beautiful. Strangely, the beauty of the farm covered fields over the dormant volcano took my breath away too! Like liquid green velvet 😮😃the ‘realness’ of bike travel is daunting take care, recharge and back out woohoo-safer travels love🙏🏻❤️

Paddy I am quite surprized you have travelled so far, and yet encountered so few people. There are a LOT of people in Vietnam (100 million) yet you have gone 2/3 of the way with very little human contact outside of Hanoi, with the exception of (Da Nang?). Beautiful scenery though. Wonderful Buddhist temple. It will be interesting to see your coverage of Dalat.

Honestly speaking, I lived and worked in Vietnam for long time, but never know of the route that you took. It is also interesting to know that people can plant on the volcano area. How do they able to bring the water all the way up there, do anyone know? By the way, the peaceful music that you heard while you were at the Buddhist temple is a Deep/Meditation Buddhist Chant. Since it is a religious chant, there is no copyright and is free to use it. Lastly, for not taking the highway route, you are able to capture and show some ridiculously breathtaking scenes. That waterfall scene is very lovely.

Loving Vietnam again. We were there in 2006 north to south via train, bus and plane. I must say we stumbled upon a festival celebrating tourism in Hoi An. The same canal you filmed we were treated to a live staged performance of how Vietnamese history. Being one of a handful of tourists we were shown to preferential seating. Lovely memory.

The Vietnam countryside continues to amaze me with its beauty. That tapestry of planting fields in the volcano is just beautiful. I could feel your sense of peace in that Pagoda. Looking forward to your Dalat video. BTW, I'm typically not one to provide unsolicited advice... But you mentioned your pain several times in the video. The therapist in me can't help but to say take care of yourself. Those long drives combined with all of the time you must be spending editing those videos will take its toll eventually. Easier said than done, but take some time to work on strengthening your core and postural muscles. Appropriate amounts of breaks are beneficial as well. Repetitive stress injuries are for real. Take care and carry on. This channel has become one of my favorites.

Travelling in the rain - no fun. But the shots of the stormy clouds in the distance.... Wow. So beautiful.
The volcano! I would have never guessed! I had made a note in my mind to comment on the way that the people there divided the land to plant and grow things but I am even more impressed that it is a volcano as well!! So beautiful!
The peace from the Temple definitely came through.... I could see how peaceful you were, and the temple itself seemed so quiet and lovely.
I too love the back road driving.... You never know what you might come across and the simple things can be the most gorgeous and eye-pleasing things you see... And if you would have taken the highway, you would have missed it all. I experienced this yesterday on my trip home to Illinois... Mostly took interstate roads because it was a long drive (over 1000 miles) but coming into my small town I took the back roads thru corn and bean fields and it just looked so green and lush.... Definitely different than the beach scenes I enjoyed for nearly a week, but it was lovely to see nonetheless.
So glad you made it safely thru the rain!!

Bạn ấy hy vọng những điểm du lịch nổi tiếng sẽ vắng khách, điều đó thực sự vô lý và không công bằng với những người kinh doanh du lịch. Hoi An to Pleiko is a LONG ride. Good to see you got something to cover your arms from all the sun. Personally I prefer to cover shorter distances each day - like only 150km per day in Vietnam. In that area between Da Lat and Hoi An, there are some great coastal cities (Nha Trang, Tuy Hua, Quy Nhon) - which can be ridden to with very little time on Highway 1. And also another really great north-south route covering the northern 2/3 of Hoi An to Da Lat.. which is inland but closer to the coast than the western border. That path has mostly great road surfaces. On some sections, there are only small mountain cities, like Mang Den. But personally I liked Mang Den far better than Da Lat.

Looks like everything’s came together just right to give you that cool spiritual experience … the rain, dark thunderous sky, setting, music, and the solitude… All the ingredients for a good spiritual moment.

You always share the reality of solo motorcycle adventures. They’re great stories once they’re done; we’d have it no other way; but only if you’re on the road do you understand what trade offs, joys, and danger exists whilst traveling on a bike.

Wow, so beautiful scenes....the falls, roads and crater. You have, of course, like Thailand made me want to add Vietnam on my bucket list for SE Asia.....awesome job vlogging.

National Geographic documentaries should be something on your bucket list for the future, Paddy. Your work is now pretty much always outstanding. You are absolutely now a true professional of your art. I am stunned about how far you have come this last couple of months. The confidence is there for all to see. There is no longer any evidence of self doubt at all nor should there be . 😀

@@PaddyDoyle. hmmm. That's the beauty of being self employed. You can take an about turn, brush off the cobwebs and have another crack. Aching bones means a couple of days rest from Super Dreamy. If it's Super Dreamy and wear and tear there's always a caring motor cycle mechanic with all the skills and a soldering iron. You did say at the very start that there was no time limit on this journey. The show must go on, but at a pace that suits you 😂🤣😂

About your Vietnam fatigue. I feel you, and I honestly think that you're doing it the wrong way. I spend 6 months a year in Vietnam, and yes, traffic can get on your nerves. For me it's the hellish noise that the Vietnamese seem to be unable to exist without.
The cure, at least for me, is to stop wanting to see everything. I like spending quality time with the Vietnamese. One of your first videos that featured the homestay lady washing your jeans, and later on your participation in a countryside wedding, that's Vietnam. Been there, done that as well. I've spent enough time in Vietnam to learn the language, and you wouldn't believe how much richer life gets when you can get close to people by bridging the language gap.

Great idea to take the road less traveled. Loved your rain dance. You might want to look into a back brace to wear while riding. It’s like a girdle but helps on long rides.
