I also live outside Japan and I have difficulties looking and buying merch from YJA. Always have to contact a resident which means there will be taxes and other fees I have to spend on top of the item I wish to buy. This is a totally unrelated question, but I was just reading the shinsoban version of volume 10. There was a flashback to queen Serenity with the moon stick. The moon stick looked like the wand from the anime. I was really confused as I had missed it the first time I read it. I wonder why it’s like that? Yahoo Japan Auctions is the Japan version of eBay. It's individual sellers selling their items so there could be anything there, lol.
This sounds dumb the more I think about it but I've always been afraid to try proxy services, I've really wanted to for various stuff but have always been worried about screwing something up or getting scammed or, yeah lol. :p Just signed up for this it this was SUPER helpful. ^^ Just wanted to say thanks for that lol. ^^

There website is a little behind, compared to buyee. Buy buyee is fee ridden.

Shipping is based on where you live. Expensive? Well that depends on what service you use and what you consider expensive.

What do you mean? ZenMarket doesn't sell merch, they are a proxy to buy merch on Japanese sites so I don't know which listings or auctions you're looking at.

Using yahoo auctions really got me mad with automatic extensions.
Part of the game, sadly.
I used Rinkya back in the day for Japanese items I couldn't find here/retro items. Then went through a time where I wasn't on auction sites but recently hopped back on it. I won an item the other day for under 2000 yen, and in the end with all their fees, I think it ended up being somewhere between 5000-6000 yen! Very disappointing. Will be looking into ZenMarket for sure!
