Nice to see a Genesis review guys - after coming from Euros, and being sick of the lack of reliability from all those brands (have had most of them i.e. BMWs, Mercs, Audis, Jags, Land Rovers etc), ... went to a GV80 which I absolutely love. This is the first car brand that I have owned I would happily buy again.
If you are ever up in Sth East Qld, GC/Bris region and want to review a top spec GV80, hit me up and I am more than happy to let you borrow the car for a review.

Hi boys. I have had a Genesis GV60 for 2 years and done 41k. Effortless car to drive and brilliant ride and luxury. Superb interior and comfort. Solid with no squeaks or rattles. No issues so far. Best car I have had and I have had BMW, Merc, Audi and Lexus.
Came from a Lexus NX. Still a fan of Lexus especially their service but Genesis is trying hard.
I heard Adam say you look at cars generally after 3 years and 50k. More than welcome to take the GV60 out next year !

This channel is the best and should be very very successful in the coming years , if not already. The used car market is over twice bigger than the new car market. The fact that most car review channels specialize on new cars while leaving out an audience of that size that is astounding. Props to you guys for properly identifying a bigger audience and making content to meet that need. Keep grinding and this channel should be the go to reference for millions of people who are looking to buy cars. Well done!

Great review guys! You covered it all!
My G70 3.3T AWD Sport Prestige is amaaaaaaazing! Every day I drive this car I fall in love with it more!
. . . and you are absolutely right . . . especially about two things: 1) if you think you need more power, it’s just your ego talking. This thing flies! Every time I push that pedal, it takes my breath away. Seriously, every time! It is THAT fast and responsive. 2) it hides driving speed incredibly well. I still find myself looking down and saying “oh sh@t” because I’ve been cruising along at nearly 90mph and didn’t realize it. At this rate, there’s probably a ticket in my near future.
I confidently purchased my 2022 G70 preowned…The warranty is one of the best in the business and transferable (still have years of bumper-to-bumper left). The impressive interior build quality and beautiful touches that set this car so far above others just makes me smile every time I get in…and the tech is well designed, stable and thoroughly polished.
I could go on, but you get the picture. Easily the best car I have ever purchased, and would do it again without a second thought.

I had two Genesis, or Genesis -es? I found that the original 4.6L V8 to be the perfect cruiser. The Ultimate Tech editions we're loaded but still had some growing pains to overcome in some areas like bargain parts and Hyundai fleet hard plastic interior items. (Like the dash that cracks like old chips in the sun). The only problem was dealing with repairs, (some parts are German level expensive to replace) and less than stellar dealerships. I almost hope that Genesis excels like Toyota Lexus division, but I sort of hope that they don't so we get more of these great cars for less unlike the bloated prices coming out of Lexus

Only major issues are oil temps here in the south west states get above 210 Fahrenheit pretty fast, nothing an aftermarket oil cooler can’t fix though, and the window and grill trim is notorious for fading almost instantly and unfortunately genesis will not cover it under warranty. Other than that get a custom exhaust and some intakes and it will sound amazing! Great video!

I have about 37,000 miles on it and the ONLY issue I've had is that a module burned out for the passenger-rear tailight blinker....which they gave me a loaner and it was fixed in 3 days. Otherwise it's been bulletproof. I purchased the G70 after ditching a very problematic 2021 Alfa Giulia I bought new and experienced electrical and brake and build quality issues for the 7 months I had it. The G70 is not as fun as the Giulia, but it's close enough!

I live at the base of a mountain, with a great twisty road, that I do very spirited 3am runs up in sport + mode. I have had many a German car that I have done the same thing in over decades. Affordable old school sporty BMW sedans are still being made...by Hyundai. What a world we live in.

The shooting break G70 is the right choice. I normally go Lexus, but the shootingbreak really is the business. I saw one with a slight lowering of the suspension, (about 10mm) and it looked great. My heart still says Alfa. I have driven Quardra and it is a weapon. But the Alfa is built to break your heart with poor support and build quality.

Granted with the genesis its a MUST that you choose one that has the logbook COMPLETELY filled out to the date you inspect it.

2:19 most of those cars are ONLY in that price range simply because of the brand name, most of which dont even come with anything bigger than a 4 cylinder engine option, maybe with a small turbo. everyone of course has their preferences, but for me it is not ONLY about the styling or the "brand name" but the g70 has much more performance than for example the arteon, which ONLY comes with a 2.0 i4.

I've owned a 2021 G70 3.3 Sport since new, and I think you've missed a few things. I've literally purchased the car at the end of my lease YESTERDAY, so I'm certainly not saying it's a bad car. BUT, equating the handling of this car with same-range BMW or Merc is horribly misguided. Audi as well if you compare it to an S4. The top of the line G70 is a luxury muscle car that absolutely hates being pushed anywhere near its limits. That car will bite your face off without any warning even for the most trivial driving exuberance, like trying to kick the tail out at low speed on freshly fallen snow; it will understeer into snap oversteer at 30kph. Some will obviously say that I'm a bad driver, but I'm well acquainted with understeer and lift-off oversteer having previously owned two of the worst cars in that area: the Mazdaspeed3 and Saab 9-3 Viggen. But these cars were at least predictable; saying that the G70 is a great handling car can only mean you haven't really tested it. You shouldn't get this car with light colour leather seats.
