Ive had to replace all discs and pads, gear box service, all coil packs and spark plugs replaced, 3 oil changes, oil strainer and PCV changed, straightened all 4 wheels, oil pressure sensor replaced, both front arm inner bushes replaced and 4 new tires. Still love Audi, as most of the new ones are far better looking than new BMW or Benz cars. Most of them have designs that are far gimmicky and getting ugly(As of my opinion). But Audi still makes some good looking cars!
Also, in the 2000s and 2010s, they did some bonkers vehicles, like the S8 V10, A8 W12, S6 and RS6 with V10s, S4 with 4.2 V8s and a Q7 with a V12 Diesel. What a bonkers manufacturer. And wagons are the best in most Audis' in my opinion.

    Avoid sunroofs, unless it’s a fixed / non-opening pano’.
And it makes no difference if it’s a Range Rover, a Kia or even a Lexus, because…
    1. Eventually, it will leak and/or have drainage problems.
    2. Eventually, the electric motor(s) will fail, but only when the roof is open or half-closed.

Buy high performance cars only if they have full service history at the OFFICIAL DEALER SERVICE. Things that can go wrong IF YOU DO YOUR SERVICE AT THE DEALER PROPERLY for an RS6: 1) high pressure fuel pump. While the vid says it’s not common yes it’s not common to fail BUT it will underperform after some mileage. You can diagnose it at Audi or with vcds and you gotta replace it. 2) the gear selection sensor will fail 100% after 100k km at some point so save 3-5k euros for replacement at AUDI. 3) check timing and do timing chains properly at the dealer. The plastic chain “drivers” will fail 100% after some mileage and while they do not impose immediate threat you should check do your timing chains . 4) in case you driving on bumpy roads you gotta check regularly your suspension and since this comes with DRC have in mind that ONE shock absorber with the labor to change it, it can cost 3000 euros at the dealer very easy

My dream car. For now I'm happy with my VF 6.2L V8 SS wagon on LPG. Takes an extra second to get to 100 but at least it cost relatively little to run, it's value is appreciating fast and the sound of a 6.2L V8 N/A is just so much better than a muffled turbo V8 (in my opinion).

Yeah, absolutely love the look, concept etc…interior…but would I buy one…ah no! I’m not in the league to fork out those kind of repair costs & with Audi/VW products, these things do tend to happen. Seriously when they happen, this car can sink you financially…it’s frightening to me, it could bankrupt you literally. Maybe I’m too old and too conservative now to take that risk. Everything you and your mechanic friend mentioned that could go wrong are things I have also heard and even seen first hand…so yeah the massive risks & possible/probable inconvenience is lurking around the corner. As a younger version of myself almost 20 years ago I bought a heavily depreciated E65 7 series sport…so yeah, 20 inch wheel 1800 kgs, heaps of weight and tech. Easily the best car I ever owned and after 150,000 kms and almost 10 years of ownership I know about consumables like brakes and tyres. The N62 engines had a passion for chewing out valve stem caps…I know, I pushed that engine and did them twice…the car always ran on BP Ultimate and Penrite. Apart from that, the car was virtually faultless. Having said that if anything serious happened the bill to keep it on the road could be astronomical so at 210,000 kms I sadly said goodbye. Last 7 years and 50,000 kms I’ve own an HSV R8 Track Edition…now that car has been faultless and incredibly cheap to service…that’s my kind of car…no idea what’s next…I must admit i did look at A4 Avant S Line just recently as heavily discounted due to runout by almost $40K, then they were going to throw in 7 years free service and a 7 year warranty…enough usable power, better economy, decent ride, great seats and free service and they still look great with the 20 inch version of those wheels. 0-100 in 6 seconds is okay isn’t it?

      1 x @150000 klms 1 x 100000klms both over 6 years old, both daily drives repair cost over that time = $3000.
      For both cars.

I find the internet an ever increasingly interesting place I have owned one of these cars from new for the last 9 years and can only assume I was very lucky 🍀 I describe it as cast from one single piece of billet, it has never let me down, not once and I simply don’t know what to replace it with which is why I still own it. ❤ 😂 and I use it for everything, carried small oak trees literally , fencing, mitre saws, and countless other goods. Inside and outside it’s like new. Can it be expensive, sure, but proper maintenance is key and you won’t in my opinion end up with big bills, best fuel consumption I ever got was 7.0 litres per hundred but typically 10. 😊 you drive it on a wall of torque. 😅 today the c8 retails for about 317k. C7 was always the best. 👍🥂..

What really pisses me off about these kind of reviews is they spend nearly all the time moaning about consumables that *every* car needs. Also, what people forget is that this car has near supercar performance and they slag it off for needing lots of money spent when things start to wear out. Seems to always be people who have never owned one shouting the loudest about them?! I bought mine knowing full well what would be involved if/when things need replacing and apart from the HPFP's, front brakes/tyres and thermostat replacement it still makes my heart skip a beat every time I know I'll be going out in it. It gets noticed everywhere it goes and the positive attention it gets reminds me why I'm so glad I came away from the BMW M cars I'd been driving for the past decade. Most of the owners of these cars are also generally more mature and are at a time in their lives when they have the means to be able to look after these machines properly. This was the decider for me when I was in the market for either a DAZA RS3 or one of these. All the RS3's were modded to the hilt by 30 somethings with cash to spend and although I've no doubt there are some great RS3's around I know I made the right choice with the C7.5. Will easily and by far be the best car I've ever owned.
Lastly, and more importantly, those of us who know...we know. Like *really* know.
And none of us give a flying toot to those who don't.

I own allroad 3.0Bitdi :D as everyday car much more realistic but still feels, that car needs more highway. So RS6 is much more powerful but for everyday, toooooo much for most persons.

Any RS is going to be fast, Daughter has a RSQ8,, BRUTALLY fast, but as Adam said,,, a tad frustrating since you’re at the speed limit almost immediately.😶 P.S. AUDI service and backup is right up there with RangeRovers.. in other words Fu*king Atrocious.
