- We visited Taino Bay in Amber Cove, Dominican Republic. We were on NCL cruise and visited Amber Cove, DR. We made a big mistake and paid $70 for a taxi to take us to the beach... But we could have stayed outside the ship at Taino Bay. It is free, the chairs and swings are free, the pool is free and the views are free. Don't make the same mistake!

It’s right at the cruise port. There’s no cost or excursion needed.
I'll be staying at an all inclusive near by, so we can just walk over there? @@karlat7880

Pool and lazy river free - there is a cost for food and drinks, I believe. Also to go into Monkey Island.
