I would sand it down with 40-80 girt sand paper and then put rust spray paint on it. Then follow up with a color of the rust paint. But, we work by trial and error. Thanks for watching. We have more coming out soon. We are going to reveal the completed popup and van all at one time.

Amazon has self-adhesive zippers in multipacks. Just open the zippers and tie them back against the post on windy days.

OMG, thank you very much for watching. We are working on a camper van and a popup camper that we turned into a tailgating camper. Those videos are youtube shorts, make sure to watch our progress.

I will try to get it as soon as possible. What are you working on, I can give some helpful hints.

@KapKen HI. It's a 1986 Sun Lite Firebird III popup camper. It looks like the original roof is a couple of thin layers of 1/8" luann. It has the manual Heco lift system. Three are frozen, and the sleeve won't move to lock the arms up. I've tried WD40 etc. without success.
