That'd be so awesome. We got Nemesis from Resident Evil and Pyramid Head from Silent Hill so who knows? It'd be pretty bad ass if Scissorman was given the ability to hide in lockers.
@@LuffyBlack As of now (July 2022), the most recent Killer--sadly, it's an original Killer called Dredge, not Scissorman--does indeed have the ability to teleport between lockers.
If you only watch people play this game on TH-cam, they speedrun it so fast that you never see a moment where this song starts playing *out of nowhere* and Scissorman is suddenly chasing the character. You never really see that, mostly you think Scissorman is locked into a few triggers spread around the stage. Boy, was it a surprise when I first played this game myself (and to boot, not remembering those playthroughs I watched) and there I was, happily and merrily searching for clues, solving puzzles, trying to figure out what item came in what order or whatnot... *when suddenly this music starts playing and I'm just like* "ARE YOU SHITTING ME?!" _Worse thing is, I only knew of_ ONE _hiding spot back when this happened, so I knew I'd eventually be screwed if I used it too many times._
I'm going to necro this. Yesterday I played CT for the first time. - Bobby never spawned in hallways. - I didn't encounter Mary in the phone room. - He wasn't in the mannequin room or behind the curtain in the music room either (he would spawn if I played the piano, but you don't need to touch it anyway). - In the bathroom, a cat jumped out of the box instead of Bobby. But I got him in the storage room. It was just pure luck as I never speedran or used any exploits.
There was on I saw where Helen enters the Barrows castle and after the brief cutscene of the main front hall the music suddenly started and a door opens :O
This was a real trauma for me, I can't even listen to more than 10 seconds of this, I feel like it will summon him or something, I don't want him to appear in my building. I think I will hide in my bathroom, see you later
Man, this music really made the Clock Tower game, I love how it invokes dread and fear even before Scissorman comes out of nowheere, as you soon as this starts playing you KNOW you better hide!
Just imagine being all alone at home in the middle of night, and then out the middle of nowhere, this just so happens to play......... "Just a random thought".
Fun fact that Scissor Man was in a 1980s movie called The Burning a horror slasher summer camp he kills teenagers That where the game developers got the idea of Scissor Man
@AlluMan96 Im talking about the one where when you play as Jennifer, she is writing on her diary and hears the scissors closer and closer and when you play as Helen you fing Jennifer with some red scissors on her neck and scissorman is waiting for you behind the door
i remember i was about 8....me and my bro would drive to my cousin's house so i could watch them play this game....whenever scissorman would pop out of a box or something, i would scream and run out the room!!!!
Automatically when I hear Scissormans theme I think of the sound of his scissors... cha ching...cha ching...cha ching... sometimes it sounds slow and other times it sounds fast.
M = 17+ in the US. This game is rather mild for an M game, though (little blood, next to no cursing, and the deaths, while gruesome, aren't extremely violent). I'm 15 and I can easily play it without being, like, scarred for life or anything.
Lol, I remember when playing this game, and this music just came outta nowhere, my first reaction was to hide wherever I could before Scissorman shows up XD
One of the funniest moments of the game is when U play as Helen and get a fax from Scissorman. This joint sounds like the result of remixing Mike Jackson's Thriller to an up-tempo techno sound while taking X pills! Gotta love it.!
lol i remember this game my bro used to play on the ps1 when he was like 15 or so an i watched him. i was bout 8 yrs old an always when this music came i was like "RUN! RUN! HIDE SUMWHERE! QUICK!" an he only said "chill" lol geez i always got so scared an at the same time excited when that music was played
I LOVE this theme my first time playing this game i didn't get the idea of just running and hiding. *having played games like resident evil and silent hill before* so the whole time i was running i was like "WTF where are some weapons to unload into this creepy little man" oh and the places he could ambush you from. i just got one question... HOW IN THE HELL CAN HE FIT IN A BOX SMALL ENOUGH FOR SHOES?!
@RavenPest The timeline of the game series goes as follows: -Clock Tower: The First Fear (SNES, PS1, PC, Wonderswan) -Clock Tower (PS1) -Clock Tower: The Struggle Within (aka Ghosthead; PS1) -Clock Tower 3 (PS2)
Well, I've done all of that except the headphones part. XD; Dude... Now I want to. (YOU'RE the brave one if you've done that!) Aw, I'm not that brave, really. This game has made me shriek quite a few times. I think it's the scariest one out of the series!
This is the real Clock Tower 2. This was not the same as Ghost Head/Struggle Within. North America and Europe never got the first one. It makes sense in a way, why would they release Clock Tower on Ps1 as Clock Tower 2 no one would bought it since they never heard of the first. This same fate was granted to Final Fantasy series. Clock Tower (SNES) and Clock Tower 2 (This one) were the only ones that had a related story. Ghost Head/ Struggle within and 3 were different games entirely.
@thedragonb0y Did you play the SNES version of clock tower. It was actually the only clock tower that actually scared me and it still does making it my scariest games of all time. The reson is because unlike the 3 games after that it didn't suffer from any silly factor or unintimidating villans (due to either design or the actual models and animation) the SNES version of clock tower is all just basic and it works really well. Allsow the first one doesn't have any rediculous magic shit.
Dude, the first Clock Tower game was released only in Japan for the SNES and for the PC in the mid 90's, so when Clock Tower 2 came out, someone thought it was a good idea (yeah right) to release it in the U.S. like if it was the first game in the series, and therefore, that equals international confusion.
Ah please developers of clock tower. I ask of you as a dear fan of the original game for the SNES, PLEASE MAKE CLOCK TOWER THE SECOND FEAR OR SOMETHING THAT HAS TO DO WITH JENNIFER OR THE BARROWS FAMILY!
I agree with you i was more of staying in one spot instead of moving because i was afraid to have scissor man pop out on me, i was afraid of this game!
How do you wield that thing and why wield it anyways i mean if i was a murderer i would get something more small silent and not freaking heavy good theme though
Creator reveleaed that because Edward's only 10, he still likes to play, the scissors and slow movement are because it scares the living crap outta the victims Dangit
because ASCII never brought it to North America. I believe it was a risk for the Super Nintendo's image back then. Clock Tower (SNES) was much more violent then Mortal Kombat I think. Maybe not gore wise, but the horror-element was a lot to handle back then. It goes: Clock Tower (SNES, PC, Wonderswan) Clock Tower 2 (Ps1) Clock Tower: Ghost Head (The Struggle Within) Clock Tower 3
@LiliumXLovesXGambit lol agreed, especially when your watching someone play it/your playing it and at 2-4 am u goto bed and you hear little scha-ling of the scissors or this music play silently in ur head and the sounds become real. First time i watched my sis played this i cried n hid behind my blanket (i was about 5 at the time) now im 13 and im still to afraid..
Chris Darril seems to be the only person remaking Clock Tower from the SNES version. Its called Remothered, check it out, looks creepy Update: yeah it's been a long time and that Chris fellow is still working on Remothered...who knows when it will come out. On the other hand, Nightcry on Steam has been out for awhile, similar to this game as well.
@Gameprofessional Well I do think that silent hill got it right with Shattered memories. The scares themselves where to be looked for alot (reffering to the hauntings) and the plot is fantastic and can actually be connected with the plot of silent hill unlike the ass shaving origins or the painfully avarrege homecoming (it may be so that silent hill 1 & 3 are just a part of cheryl's fantasy's but that's just on how you look at it)
he wouldn't jump out from some bush's he would be the type of guy to pop out of your refrigerator or your bathroom cabinet. a place you would think "there is no way he's in there" and i don't think those are giant scissors but gardening sheers or hedge trimmers.
@AndroidIdeas Ahaa but I don't belive that ending is canon (though it depends on you're perspective) but hey laura or ann is still alive so why can't capcom give us the real clock tower 2 (a continuation of the SNES version) I mean hell capcom is the best there is in terms of nostalgia and classic gamestyle but thats what happens when a game genre isn't popular.
i went on ebay and bought this game for 20 bucks, then when it came it had the case, manual and artwork, but the game i got was wrong, instead i got the fucking struggle within (not a bad game). and b4 you tell me i shouldve looked more carefully, i did, and it said nothing about the struggle within. but hey atleast i dont have to shell out 60 bucks for it. but i definately want to play this, it looks like the kind of game that deserves more love, and hopefully that movie comes out.
Oooh.. Scary!! I want the game, but I can't find it on the web. Only the First Fear, or the sequel (CT II). Is Fisrt Fear this game or it's a remake of the SNES ver? I need an answer! If it's not, Could someone give me the game? Thank U!
Scissorman Next killer for dead by daylight and I nominate this theme to be his chase theme.
That'd be so awesome. We got Nemesis from Resident Evil and Pyramid Head from Silent Hill so who knows? It'd be pretty bad ass if Scissorman was given the ability to hide in lockers.
@@LuffyBlack YAS!!!! He'd get a speed buff or an attack bonus buff if he managed to "surprise" the survivors!
@@LuffyBlack As of now (July 2022), the most recent Killer--sadly, it's an original Killer called Dredge, not Scissorman--does indeed have the ability to teleport between lockers.
Maybe that can push for more sequels.
And the level could be the Barrows Mansion!
If you only watch people play this game on TH-cam, they speedrun it so fast that you never see a moment where this song starts playing *out of nowhere* and Scissorman is suddenly chasing the character. Yep its a pretty faithful sequel down to the multiple endings XD
@@blindedjourneyman I have no idea why this series just stopped. I even enjoyed clock tower 3 and haunting ground.

That's what Scissorman wants you to believe.
Dude! Didn't you play the games? Hiding in the Bathroom is the worst idea!
It's a bad idea when it's the 3rd time in a row haha
Same to me. This game is childhood trauma for me. Love it anyway. Also best and most realistic nightmares. Now i'm 30, it's gone (trauma).

After spending more than a year of not playing this game, I still listen to this song and go 'OH SHIT RUN'
OMG THANK YOU! Ive searched the entire internet for this and couldnt find it anywhere!! Where did you get this???
