Always loved when this cinematic happened on every playthrough I did. Cloud just comes down the stairs on a freakin' motorcycle like it doesn't even matter while the others steal a pickup truck on display and then they smash out of the building for what was the coolest highway chase scenario in 1997.
@@michaelluciano1980 I was watching it on TV and during the parking garage chase I was listening and it immediately clicked in my brain. Combined with the cyberpunk elements of Vll, I definitely assume he was watching terminator when he came up with it.
@@MiniatureMorpheus as I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized all of the connection between mainstream and popular American TV shows and movies and the influence of them on the video games. We played in the mid 90s. A good example would be Twin Peaks and earthbound… Or Final Fantasy & terminator like you mentioned
Having not watched those films yet, I’ll take your word for it. Still, there have been references to popular films in the series before. FF1 references Splash. FF6 references Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. There are others in the series, but I can’t recall ATM.
This game came out not too long after Toy Story. 3D animation was still new to everyone, so you can imagine how revolutionary it was at the time to see a video game cutscene animated in 3D.
As a kid I always thought the scene where Cloud is on the motorbike to be really cool. Even now the bike chase is one of my favourite parts of the Game.
Older songs, because they were more limited, relied more on melody than rhythm. Thus they were "forced" to actually make good, melodious music, because they didn't have the sound hardware (or in the case of FF7, storage space) to make terrible rhythmic music.
I didn’t know you could bump them off the road… huh. I did know you could hit them with the sword but I didn’t know you could slam your motorcycle into them and knock them down that way.

Nice bit of nostalgia to be watching after just reading an article on Google about the actress for Tifa in Rebirth being nervous about how fans will react....which is usually a big red flag that the devs did something that will likely have long time fans of the game reaching for pitchforks and torches. Cloud, giving Shinra the middle finger since 1997.
It’s so bad iconically
This track is also flawless.
Gives the player perfect feeling of being under the pressure.

Oh boy here I go spending hours in The Golden Saucer again.

リメイクやリバースのアレンジもいいんだけど、ちょっと物足りなさがあった。
ほんとにカッコいい。
One of my favorite tracks. This is when I fell in love with Cloud as an 18 year old girl.
I knew I was in for something special when this started playing with the fmv.
Wow its been a long time but I still remember it when I played it as kid
This song goes harder than a left turn in NYC

Don't listen to this while driving. You'll end up in Bermuda Triangle.
