I think a lot of people forget that roped pots exist. They make for awesome setups and can actually make moves safer. It can counter quickstep bs too. Please do consider implementing them! I’d love to see it!
i do enjoy stamping on fools, but the existence of quickstep certainly harms the viability of putting ones foot down, unfortunately. despite this i still use quickstep on occasion (sometimes i swap between a quickstep and stamp gugs to be even more erratic and unpredictable (it's pretty fucking hilarious when it works))

I was tired with the bell bearing hunter in caelid and I thought I had a bloodhound steps ash of war, I was actually using this ash of war lol. I was wondering why my character wasn't doing the invisible animation. This one slaps the bell bearing hunter.

Have you tried the best PvE/PvP build call the BEASTMASTER with 35 VIG 22 MIN 45 END 75 STR 75 DEX 10 INT 8 FAI 9 ARC BEASTMASTER wields the 3 best bows the Redbranch Shortbow, the Albinauric Bow and the Legendary Lion Greatbow from Radahn himselft the conqueror of the stars with the best arrows of each element and the Radahn spears. BEASTMASTER uses the beast champion armor with the imp wolf mask (uwu) or the blue silver armor set for feet enjoyers like Miyazaki himselft xd, with the Radagon´s Soreseal, Rotten winged, and both arrow sting and reach talismans you will be the beast archer in elden ring. Finally in the Flask of Wondrous Physick use Crimson bubble tear and thorny cracked tear for peak performance, you will dominate in pvp with BEASTMASTER from range being the king of mag and invasions if you ever see more than 1 BEASTMASTER in a gank sever ur finger irl because u will never win the fight. finally dont forget ur epic companions Wolfpack , Stormhack and Warhack Spirit ashes to dominate even the hardest bosses from range. This is my favorite build and personally think you should try the BEASTMASTER
35 vigor is too much imo, regular rl125 builds should be capping at 25 vigor at most when it comes to pve and pvp. When i play beast master, i like to optimize my wondrous flask with both crimson crystal tears so i can heal in duels like a real gamer(ign told me i should heal in duels)
I don't understand how to do this quickstep. I got dagger with this skill in left hand and character just hide weapon in right hand in sheath and returns it back when I press skill button.
Use quickstep with Celebrants poison daggers and a light load. You will build a frustration in your opponents that makes them do panic attacks because they cannot touch you.
No longer do you need positioning and strafing practice to get backstabs. Now you have backstabs with the press of an L2 button so everyone can be a backstab master without needing to put time learning the game
Ao satusfying to tank an enemies attack only to dosh out more damage... What about the "oki" you get from hitting stamp? Seems like you could position yourself for mix ups
I have 2 katanas equipped but I want to be able to unsheathe and use flash step. Is this possible? I can only seem to activate the ashes of war on my right katana and not left
Very late but if you want to use your other weapon's ability you have to switch it to double hand it (triangle+l1/r1 for your weapon) dont know if you still needed to know but hope this helps
You can but you will have to two hand your weapons for that to work. You can put them in the same hand in different slots and switch between them if you want to.
I can tell this was great info only I couldn't understand any of it. Too fast. I need much more basic breakdown even of the simple move itself. When I QS I just end up in the opponent's chest.

Night in prague - from no more heroes 3. Katar is godlike, some dude I fought one shot me with a jump attack at full health
Isn't quickstep better for backstab fishing than bloodhound step? I seem to remember that being the case.
BHS is sometimes too fast for the tracking to keep up with, so yeah. Not like it‘s impossible, but QS is more comfortable to use that way.

Depending if that shield has an ash of war. If it does you can put the ash of war no skill on just so you can use quickstep while it’s equipped.
