Bleed is known to be one of the strongest and most abused damage types in the game, but just how strong is it? Today we set off to answer that question and there is one weapon that is above and beyond the best at apply bleed damage in all of Elden Ring.

Dual bleed curved swords and twin blades hit twice in the jump attack so 4 times when dual weilding, is probably faster bleed build up than Reduvia, and then use black feather and claw talisman for bonus damage
That used to be insane like a year ago, but they heavily nerfed powerstance bleed buildup. It's still pretty good with double sepuku but not as good as the reduvia probably

It's still op even tho the quad hit attacks only do 40% of the base bleed buildup per hit.

If you don't want to take time learning how to counter waterfowl dance, if you throw a freeze pot at her it knocks her out of the air and the waterfowl animation but you have to hit her before she starts it.
I rarely watch 30+mins video, but you actually entertaining to watch that I stayed all the way.

Not making use of other really good bleed weapons like Mohgwyn's Sacred Spear and Eleonora's Poleblade was honestly a pretty big missed opportunity, but other than that, it wasn't a bad run.

@@jonathancarroll9463 there are better choices, as Eleonora cannot be imbued with any ash of war to maximize bleed proc.

The fight with Malenia really showcases why Rivers Of Blood was so powerfull... the first time i defeated Malenia, was thanks to Rivers Of Blood, and she didnt do anything... just spamming Corpse Piler did so much damage, bleed and poise damage, that she couldnt do any of her skills

I really love wielding duel Great stars. Good poise break on jump attacks and occasional bleed. And if you have high arcane then the bleed procs really fast.
Power stance Bandit curved swords with bleed affinity and high dex and arcane is the ultimate max bleed build especially with jumping power stance attacks
It's a nice Reduvia run but it's far from max bleed
Even if you want blood blade - occult nagakiba (more damage and almost guaranteed hit with the blade) or bleed twiblade (around 50 more bleed) would be stronger. At least in terms of bleed. Outside of it 3 mohgs with base stats ~800 bleed. Blood blade buffed claws. And infamous jumping attacks with twinblades
I'm a noob and have been leveling Bloodhound fang. Does that weapon scale well for end game? I have it at +6 right now.
@@jwcurry83 It's one of the best non-specialized weapons in the game. In other words you won't get as much dps or stance damage as with some other builds but at the same time you will never feel underpowered. It's also really easy to use. It's a perfect choice for the first playthrough
Few things to note - Use bleed greases or even better - blood flame blade. Fang deals more damage on jumping attacks - so use them as much as you can (you can boost them with 2 items). Its ash of war has s so you can dodge some attacks.
Also game is really long and there are a lot of materials after mid game. So consider trying other weapons as well

Been using the bleed nagikiba build and it got me dlc ready for the dlc in like 3 days
doing a frost/bleed with the nagakiba cleared limgrave,liurnia,caelid and altus of bosses in like 5 hours lmfao shit is crazy strong

hey maybe for Malenia you put the bloodhounds step ash of war on a weapon so that when she does the waterfowl dance you can just use the i frames to get out, that worked for me anyway.

Bloodflame blade on a grave scythe using spinnings strikes does more bleed while not having to upgrade the scythe

For the first couple patches swarm of flies was broken but they Nerfed the hell out of it

My first playthrough I went for a similiar build with Misericorde and Reduvia. I found the Reduvia ashes of war strong but kinda boring. Late game I switched to a hibrid with Swarm of Flies and Bloodboon and it was a lot cooler to play.
Swarm of Flies works best if cast in succession, so it stops the enemies from charging and triggers a bleed before you engage.

you can use the rune glitches at moghwyn palace for a shit ton of runes early game and upgrade your arcane a lot
So good to see bleed is still OP. If From kill it like they did Miracles in DS2 then that pretty much will kill my passion as being the best damn Blood Knight out there.
I once learned that if i couldn't properly dodge the explosion i should probably stop trying because at least then i stopped falling off the cliff

back when i did a bleed max build the best thing waws dual twinblades with seppuku, i think that should still be the case as well
Mimic tear is just so busted, im now 150 hours into my first playthrough, but about like 20 hours in i accidentally went straight in and killed the mimic tear, completely forgot that i had gotten ashes from it, and now only after making it to the giants mountain tops did i check and notice that it was summoned using hp, i put it on, and was immediately blessed with all the frostbite to ever exist. (Using +20 guts greatsword with cold Imbued
dual twinblades, best is godskin peeler with sepuko and jump attack spam is even stronger

One of my favorite builds is actually dual Great stars with ice affinity and cragblade on the left hand and wild strikes on the right hand. Opponents don’t stand a chance.

It'd be cool to see you try and do a melee sorcery only run! You can use the carian sorceries that summon melee weapons as a bit of a "ranged option" of melee weapons.

For Great Stars I suggest Eild Strikes ash of war, that combo is BUSTED
You want really great bleed? Godskin peeler get well over 100+ at even 60 arcane, if I remember right
Wouldn't duel scavenger swords or godskin peelers inflict more bleed and have more dps??

Reduvia is good against enemies with weak spots (dragon's head ect.) but bleed curved swords are generally better.

Honestly this disappointed me a lot, thought the reduvia was the best but I get more bleed on a keen hookclaws for essentially the same play style (being right in front of them)

@@bryceinator13 use the weapon "antspur rapier" and put the "poisonous mist" ash of war on it. antspur rapier does innate scarlet rot, and with poisonous mist you can do poison damage aswell. if you want, you can use an "estoc" with the cold infusion on your left hand, with a bleed affinity on the right hand antspur rapier. 4 elements.
@kianpierce8847 you can also get poisonous mist with blood affinity on it, or for example seppuku with poison affinity. This will cause the Antspur Rapier to have scarlet rot, poison and blood on 1 weapon
Try dual welding twinblades. Use both the standard Twinblade and ELEONORA'S POLEBLADE. Put Sepuku on the Twinblade and use it in your right hand. ELEONORA'S POLEBLADE will be in your left hand.
It's a pretty fun build with good bleed
Yeah lots of people are saying dual Godskin peelers but that requires NG+ This sounds like it would be really good damage as well and could be used on a fresh character

I dont mind if people sommon but using shackles and making mimic tear unequip its weapons takes any and all challenge out of the game
Maybe I missed somerthing, but how can you use bloodflame blade with a weapon that has an ash of war equipped?
As long as you give the weapon an ash of war that has a standard affinity and not something like a bleed or flame affinity then you can use blood flame blade on most weapons

Great knife with bloody slash is way better than reduvia blood blade. I intended on using reduvia and put bloody slash on the great knife to dual weild bleed daggers. But i switched it to my main after realizing its way better
Eleonora's Poleblade to me atm is the best bleed weapon
I know people hate int, but dark moon greatsword is the reduvia of frost damage.
People don’t hate intelligence they hate people that spam magic the dark moon great sword is not something people hate people actually like it they just hate the magic spammers because the magic they spam happens to have chain, casting which allows you to cast magic, multiple times in a row, which forces the other person to dodge till they’re out of stamina, which means they can’t attack and by the time they have their stamina back The person is ready to spam again.

I don't get how it works bcuz if bleed is supposed to do 7.5% damage how come the final hit against margrit does like 4000+? Shouldn't it do 7.5% each time its applied? That's confusing me. PS other hits do more than 7.5% as well. Not understanding that part.
