Can't wait for part with my all favourite hero Sven. I haven't played Dota in long while, but I remember when they changed Sven ultimate to give him not only bonus damage, but also bonus strength. It was always fun for me when enemies tried to gank me, I'd just press the big red button, gain all this extra strength and damage and it was all like "call the ambulance, but not for me"

AM's window of opportunity is actually as long as he can sustain being an item or 2 ahead of enemy cores. In an even game when enemy carry can outscale him and is keeping up farm with you is terrifying for AM and his team needs to out macro the enemy team to eke out a win coz if item advantage won't cut it then skirmishing and teamfighting will. AM is so ass for first 25 to 30 minutes though so most carries can start grouping up before he's even online(finished Manta).
@@jambayani6507 I'm not very good at AM, but I can say that his macro gameplay revolves around split-pushing and being annoying for the enemy team. AM's Blink is a really powerful mobility tool which makes him hard to catch. Counterspell makes it hard to land a point and click cc on him. Manta saves him from silences. If enemy team lacks reliable lockdown, a good AM will be almost impossible to kill, since he's just going to blink away from you while cutting creep waves with BF. So basically you want to combine farming jungle with pushing lane. Keep track of enemy movements and analyze situation. If they don't have any means to catch you, then you can push more recklessly. If you can't teamfight, your team have to carefully defend big enemy pushes while you split push. If enemy ignore you - you can get an even trade (tower for tower) or sometimes take more than they did. If someone tps back to stop you - then you tp back to your team and you fight 5v4. That kind of rat dota macro gameplay is what makes AM one of my favourite heroes to play (and least favourite to play against, lol). Although it takes a lot of experience and game understanding in general.

Small tip for those who didnt know. During juggernaut's omnislash you can right click target rapidly to retain focus of omnislash in crowded situations to ensure the kill.

(Meaning that in crowded situation, Omni Will still jump to other target, but your spam right click target will always got hit the most from Omni) But if you omni target A, and want to jump to target B. You can spam right click the target B and your omni guarantee to jump to target B.
As an old dota 2 player that recently came back (first match 2012, back in my days not every heros had agh) I didnt really used agh on drow. Then when I was having a hard game against enemy's fed PL my teammate said I should go agh so I did. Man it was insane. PL basically had no illusions till end of the game

AM is kind of a funny guy. If you asked me what aspects of a hero make them a carry I'd basically point at AM and say "all of that." He's got an auto attack enhancer, a super low Base Attack Time, high mobility, durability, flash farm, and a situationally big team fight ult. He's also item dependent as all hell, and there in lies the problem. I will say that AM in some match ups scales quite well, and I've definitely had my share of losses to an ultra late game AM comeback because our teamcomp was just really bad against him, but most of the time his scaling is completely reliant on just outfarming the enemy and leveraging a gold lead, and it's tough being a hero that relies on being ahead while also being a hero that is almost incapable of contributing for 20-30 minutes. Still, AM is iconic and I wouldn't want to see any major changes to him. He's also annoying to play against, so I'm happy with him never being anything but a counter pick. I would also put a massive asterisk next to any claim of jugg being the best 1v1er, since, even with his really good auto attack dps, he tends to get eaten alive by carries that can get around omni. PL just puts an end to it with doppleganger and then overwhelms you, Ursa can often just facetank the whole thing with enrage then rip you to shreds, Troll survives it with ult then goes to town on you (and you don't win that right click battle), late game PA just cancels it with blur and then crits you off the face of the earth, and Slark just goes into shadow dance at which point your best option is to spin and run for the hills. Actually, if I had to pick the best all around 1v1 manfighter I'd pick Slark, since he beats just about any non-illusion hero by just going untargetable and stealing all your stats in that time. Even dedicated manfighters like Troll and Ursa struggle to deal with a farmed Slark, and for what it's worth Slark is also the best 1v1 no retreat manfight to the death at lvl 1.

you can actually disassemble the drums of endurance, and assemble it again for it to reset the stacks. good for support and also for early game fighting for carries
After 7.37 luna laning stage is pretty strong since you can now max your beam first, but his farming speed is reduced since now you will have the equivalent of max level blessing at lvl 21 (usually you max blessing early). The new rotating glaive doesnt look good for me so i haven't pick her again so idk if it's good for farming or not
On 1v1 topic, if not limited by networth, LD would be the clear winner. You can't fight double basher on top of double root. LD and his funny bear will eat double omni+swiftslash for lunch. The only limit for LD is how much is he allowed to farm xd
I don't even consider am as a carry anymore because I haven't been carried by am for like 2 years. AM never do good on lane can't join fights and the most important thing he's supposed to be counters of leshric, ss, qop and od but since the ethernal shroud has changed those int based hero been rushing that item and AM may burn mana but when the mana run out am basically deal dmg like an enchanted creep and when he use mana void on ethernal shroud hero he even give mana to those heros. Also offlane playstyle has been changed because of collapse, aft, ace and most offlaners try to destroy u in lane instead of focusing on play maker style. Am still counter medusa for sure but who in right mind would pick medusa unless it's the last pick. I'm pos5 main and the pos1 heroes I like laning together lately are ck,alche, ursa and weaver
I feel like Time Zone would be fixed if it had a fence like Disruptor spell. Is just nuts that it is completely countered by any on the team having boots of bearing. Or at least it should cap max movement speed.
I think it's somewhat fine as is, because you're trading Chrono's reliable lockdown for the insane Time Zone steroid. If Time Zone trapped people inside, there would be very little reason to pick Chrono anymore. Chrono on its own needs to be combo'd with damage to be really effective, so Timezone should be combo'd with CC and I think it's balanced in that regard
He's been a niche pick for years now. Not even high int/mana heroes being meta that he counters like Storm and Lesh keeps him meta for long. Maybe if it's a Medusa meta but even then he's too weak to consider if she's not picked by the enemy team otherwise. Shit is rough as an AM player ngl.
realistically all armlet lovers never need to turn them off. perhaps only kunkka. everyoneelsecan self sustain faster than it drains you also you never mention the illusion killer god brew. from army control with his slows which are really value to avoid naga pl ck to overwhelm as ofc mass dispel

Gyro flak cannon and luna glaives DO benefit from criticals. This is why you always buy crystalis on gyro. Flak cannon deals damage based on your main attack's damage, which is enhanced by crits, aka if the hit crits, all the others do too.
...it says right in the spell's description "Only the main target of attacks will receive attack bonuses such as Critical Strike." People buy Crystalis because the Side Gunner can crit, not the flak.
None of AM's mana-related abilities actually work on Huskar. No mana burn because no mana. No slow because no % from max mana. No ult damage because no max mana.

AM is (imo) the best carry if you have a good macro.

If I remember correctly, spell amp does affect damages proc on items.
So the 15% spell amp for Blood Seeker is actually better than the attack speed.
