    Needs a 4cam or a coyote swap... possibly a 2.3 or 2.7 ecoboost swap> Lightweight powerful and efficient? GOod video Dave.

      @@reggeckmann3993 over here that's worth weight in gold solid frame zero rust and he's a grown 40 yr old man being a whiney crybaby over a 800$ truck that probably only needs a couple grand to get right I only paid $5k for my ranger but had to put new tires new control arms new shocks now I'm sitting at 7000 into it but she runs great

      I have 3.0 V6 b3000 4x4 1999 120k miles and Ive been doing great in 6"- 1 foot of snow but the ice got me today slide on the corner right into a snowbank even in 4x4 perhaps need spare underneath for the weight but I had bed full of tools and went right into that snow bank luckily I back myself out and went right home zero damage at all thank god lol but -35 degrees she struggled a bit but still cranked right up so did my moms Honda

    You can patch that trailer tire from the inside. We had one of our tires done that way. It's far more reliable than a plug.

    • @PanameraTurboSEHybrid
      @PanameraTurboSEHybrid 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The patch is the correct way to do it. A plug is basically supposed to be a temporary fix so you can drive it to a shop and get it patched.

    • @devilmonkey
      @devilmonkey 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PanameraTurboSEHybrid I've had like 5 plugs in a tire, just rubber cement the plug and stick it in

    • @PanameraTurboSEHybrid
      @PanameraTurboSEHybrid 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@devilmonkey Sure. Even with rubber cement, plug can still leak again, maybe not now but anytime in the future. I've replaced what felt like thousands of tires for years, and seen so many plugs leaking new or old. People can do what ever they want. Just saying that patches are the correct way.

    If it was hydro locked the first thing you should of done was drain the oil to see if water was in it

    It sounded quite poor on compression, but perhaps should have coughed on some cylinder(s) with compression left. Maybe there is water in the fuel system?

    the v6 3.0 + 4.0 do die it's the 4 banger that will not die. i had a 3.0 that i blew a headgasket still drove it for 5 years and then one day cracked the head but it still got home. the next day it started right up but with a bad miss and you could see the crack clear as day
