    Tried the 2 strand twist and cut. It worked perfectly for me. Getting rid of the dead ends is the best way to keep my hair healthy & growing.

    Thanks Sheila, I really needed this info and as usual you present it simply. By the way, after watching your how to plait a flat twist I attempted and got it down with the first trial 👍🏾. Asante sana for your videos🤗

    Awesome tips Sheila. No wonder my ends are always dry and brittle (always in knots when I detangle), and the rest of the hair is well moisturized. Those ends gotta go!

    The two strand twist always works for me . It's easier and saves alot of time. I do it after washing so it's wet and i leave it for the two strand twist effect

    I last trimmed my hair November 2016. I never cut my ends; it is normal that they grow in uneven that is a sign of growth, it does not mean your hair is damaged. I would not trim more than 1 to 2 times a year, or you will be trimming all your growth off. Hair only grows 1/2 inches a month, on average, if you are lucky, so that is 6 inches a year, if you cut an inch 4 times a year; no wonder it's not growing.

      I trim my hair when needed because i can clearly see bad and thin ends and its like every 4 months. But curiously, its when i trim that im able to retain more length so now i dont fear cutting those ends

    • @dianaoginga7609
      @dianaoginga7609 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I also believe trimming is not the only solution to hair growth our hairs are different I've trimmed mine only once in two years I do protective styles for six months and there is massive growth.
      We should always let our hair grow peacefully without a lot of activities

    Good job but next time try a high quality salon style rat tale comb and trimming a half inch above your split ends Oufph 😫😣GIRL! I was nervous for you Lmao 🤣😂 Because getting the job well done the 1st time around will mean that your hair will grow back better and less breakages and a longer time without needing to trim ends again. ❤

    Sheila I looooove your hair,and the nails too,a quick question though,does coconut oil cause hair to dry sana or does it depend with the hair type?

    • @riungufaith5866
      @riungufaith5866 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends with your hair type love.

    Hi. I decided to go natural since the beginning of the year and I've noticed that my hair is really breaking and I'm losing my hairline. I wash, condition and treat my hair after every two weeks, even tried the black tea treatment, but it's not helping. Please help me out.
    PS. My hair is really short and the breakage has left my hair with varying lengths.

    Amazing Good stuff sheila
    Should I trim before wash or after washing?
    Question though its on the Eco styling Gel when you used it what effect did it have on your hair, of late there has been a lot of complains about it. And if you would recommend a gel which one would you recommend??
    Glad your Back.

    Ladies please don't trim with normal scissors. It can actually cause split ends. If you look at hair shears they are very sharp, sharp enough to cut your fingers, that's because they slice easier. Blunt scissors like normal ones will cause split ends more because the cut isn't sharp... trust me
