This year I want to intensify my deep conditioning sessions so as to get as much moisture as possible, since I wear my hair stretched during the week and rarely spritz it with water. I ordered a steam cap and can't wait for it to get here!

I have cut my hair again.. And I have loved all you have said.. At the end I just want healthy hair.. But alittle bit of length is also good.. Coz am a lazy natural.. So braids will be go to hair styles..

Awesome. Even I am looking into going through the ayurveda stuff..so it will be nice to know where to get the powders and herbs in Kenya and the prices.
Side note: Don't do a monthly length check, I think you might need to give your regime or new products time to work so maybe 3 months or 6 months length check..

I think you should check length every 3 or 6 months, Just to not be disappointed and to see the fully growth. You'll learn to be patient also 😊

Michelle kerubo,just trim the edge and avoid heat mostly and tight hairstyles. At least use natural hair products and after plaiting your hair always give it time to relax before plaiting again. It works 😉

Sheila , do you shampoo your hair every week, I am trying to find a new wash routine regime for my hair in 2019. I usually shampoo once a month, co_ wash one a month with Aunti jackies co-wash cleansing shampoo. But every weeks I clean my scalp using ACV
Hey, I shampoo after every 2 weeks. The most important thing is that your scalp stays clean and I think the ACV really comes in handy.
