STRETCHING NATURAL HAIR WITHOUT HEAT | AFRICAN THREADING

  • #africanthreading helps to stretch out natural hair without using heat. I always use this method before braiding to avoid blowdrying my hair. We all know heat does no justice to our hair, so I always avoid blowdrying. Make sure you moisturize your hair and do not tie the thread too tight. Don't forget to like, comment and subscribe.

How do you Stretch your Natural Hair ? Let's Chat Below

Same thing but I use kinky braids. They draw out less moisture from the hair than thread. And also I can wear them as a style for a few days if I choose.

Honestly, I just blow dry it on low heat before plaiting.

I stretch my hair by twist outs but always blow dry it out before plaiting but I will start African threading it to avoid Heat damage.
Thank you so much for this❤❤

Very informative video 👍🏿. I use African threading, regular plaits or twists that i clip to the opposite side of my head to stretch my hair. I like the results of African threading the most but it's also the most time consuming.

The stretch on your hair is really visible with this method. I've tried this method once but didn't get good results, I guess its because my hair wasn't dry enough. Decided to go back to my two strand twists method but after watching this video, I surely will give the African threading a second try.

Hey Gorgeous! I like the banding method. I bought some thread , but haven't used it yet. I will soon. I don't wear my hair out, I wear a head scarf when I'm out. I prefer to wash n keep my hair in neat braids (no extensions). TFS!

Hi sheila.I love love your vlogs soo informative, but true to it African threading works amazing especially if one moisturizes before doing the process my hair has really grown. To those saying it dries out your hair you can try lightly apply some oil on the thread before use.
Btw would you do a rice water challenge?
