I remember seeing the hanging exercise in one of your earlier videos that Mike also shows here. That made a profound improvement in my shoulder pain from an injury years ago! Previously it had gotten so bad that I couldn't sleep comfortably on my left side. While not perfect I can now find comfortable positions to sleep on my left side. I also can do shoulder raises and pushups. I then hang a bit after exercising and I'm good to go. That one was a lifesaver so THANK YOU! I look forward to trying some of these other tips you've provided. Bob you're a warrior and wish you the best!

Shoulder impingement...My exact symptoms as you demonstrated. Hurting for a couple months...I think from digging up weeds, etc. and tossing around trash bags with yard debris...Going to try these exercises...
I love to dance and play basket basket ball but unfortunately for 2 yrs i am doing nothing due to my left shoulder even mri or xray cant detect ny issues but man this shoulder even when walking always gets irritated and inflamed ,i m really depressed so much that sometimes i feel like why me even. When eveything was going right why such a small issue causing soo much trouble that most of my imp yrs in life when my frnds are enjoying i am just watching and feeling sorry for myself,i dont know if somebody is ever gonna see this but i believe i will recover ❤😢

The worst thing is the pain at night in bed. For some reason the minute I get to sleep, my shoulder starts to ache. Putting on a bra is virtually impossible pain free.
I remember those nights. Waking up to get cold packs every few hours. Etc. I ended up getting a steroid injection after 9 months of trying to rehab myself with all the exercises. Then had pt to get my range of motion and strength back. I believe it's the tendonitis that causes night pain... Good luck to you. Hope you recover soon.
Guys I enjoy watching you guys I believe that you keep coming up with good you know fixes I think that's what I have what you're talking about and you really wouldn't believe what caused it all
so, when doing the exercises we are suppose to stretch through the pain? hold the pain for a few seconds into the stretch? this is what leads to recovery? you have to find the pain and stretch it? pain is good in this sense?
I wonder which of these exercises would help me most? My shoulder started hurting after kayaking. Then started to feel better until I did a lot of crocheting. Now my shoulder hurts a lot and so does my chest, and I do have knots under my shoulder blades. Sometimes it is hard to sleep at night because of the pain. I have been icing and doing some stretches using the doorway with little relief. I suspect some sort of tendonitis (seems to be a thing with me).
I’ve tried the multiple pillows for hip and shoulder pain, and I start out fine,but when I wake up all the pillows are on the floor. How do I keep them in place.
I looked up the definition of impingement, but it didn't help me understand it much. My shoulders are so small, it's no surprise I messed them up. I think I did this on the pull down equipment, from trying new arm exercises for my chicken arms = triceps. Resting for weeks, and still have that annoying jiggle.
