@@Brewyetphoto It sounds really good to me. It isn’t loud on startup, but when you give it gas you can hear it. The drone on the highway is minimal to non-existent. I didn’t put an intake on it, but I added an air filter from AEM. I took off the stock intake tubing and added one made by HPS. Enjoy your new 4Runner.

It's not meant to be loud, or growling - it's a 6-cylinder, and it's meant to open up the airways more than a stock exhaust. If you want loud, drop a V8 in it and straight-pipe it. This does as it is supposed to.

What is the difference between the 140760 and the 140379? All I can see is a price difference online. Is one louder than the other?
Part number 140760 is an S-Type sound level and 140379 is a Touring sound level which will be quieter. In addition, 140379 has an exhaust tip and 140760 does not in order to fit the models without a bumper cut out. Part number 140760 can still be used on trim models with the bumper cut out.
What are the gains if any? Weight savings? MPG increase?

Actually I’ve been running the cat back system on my ‘21 Venture Edition for about 4 months now and while I only noticed a slight improvement in throttle response, I did pick up 1-2 mph hwy. Bone stock I was getting 16. Pulled the roof rack off and mpg went up to around 17-18. Started running either premium or a bottle of octane boost to every tank which got me up to 19 or so. Added the Borla cat back and running 70 I’m getting 21 pretty regular now. I still can’t pass anyone but I’ll definitely take the mileage.
Any increase in HP? If yes, how much HP?

@@alauen yea I know, they are the same generation. But that doesn't mean all the parts are the same.
When a vehicle is produced for over 10 years, it's likely to have emmisions changes, which directly interferes with the exhaust.

Thank you for your interest! Yes, it will fit the Limited as well. The tips on this system are turn down so you just will not have any pipe going through the bumper cut out.
