I had a Honda crx as a first car. It was my sisters, and she asked 750. A week before I turned 17 my sister asked for the money. A week later on my birthday I get a envelope from my sister and a cart. In the card she wrote: here is your 750 back, use it for your driver’s license. I come from a “poor” family (rich in love but not in terms of money) so that present was like giving a house or a Lamborghini. She started a tradition I honored by giving a car to my younger sister. I have nothing but fun memories thinking about that little car! I’ve never loved a car more than that car
Watching anyone take a car apart can be very educational since everyone does it differently. Sir you are a true craftsman. I admire the way you think thru the process.
I'm stoked to see this classic brought back to it's former glory. The only other things I would do besides the manual swap: upgraded disk brakes up front, a disk brake swap in back and a little extra sound deadening than what came from the factory.
sounds like you've taken a trip to the future and saw my plans first hand ;) ..... How does the CRX turn out in the end? haha. but yeah seriously I do plan on making a few nice upgrades like those just to make it a nicer car to drive in the modern era :)

This type of video is some of my preferred style. Too many in the YT world talk too much and don't get enough done. As the setup and camera placement prior to each set takes so much time. So it's a nice pace with the way you show enough details that we get the jist.. but then snap fingers for the mirror efforts on the other side of the car. As well as not showing each bolt removal on the body work. It takes a sharp mind to make the call as to what you show and what you don't. Makes for an EZ watch. From Canada! Keep it up.
