If it's making you money and you enjoy doing it, why would you sell it? Seems weird. Were you able or have a plan to work that 100 grand at a higher return rate than you would have gotten had you kept it? If you put it in the stock market you would make on average 8k per year, I have to think you made more than that.

Hey Steven. Nothing in life is guaranteed, and at the time, I was backpacking and preferred to have that financial security, which I explained in the video. My new business is worth about 5x that amount now, so everything worked out well in the end.

Very helpful video thanks Trevor. I have considered selling my KDP business and starting from scratch. What about Ads? Do you have to walk the seller through what Ads you have set up - or how does that work?

Usually, it's best practice to just create an SOP explaining what you do, and then the rest is up to the buyer with what help they need to take it over.

Yes, 100% this business is recession-proof. People have been and will continue to purchase books in different formats, and I found over the pandemic, my sales doubled because people read more when they aren't out spending money. Just keep learning on here for free and join the course when you can afford it.

Yeah, I think it's a great investment. The key would be to find something with a good brand and some clear easy wins to grow it further.
