    Is there a way to create an assignment such as a "topic sort" or something of that nature, and post it in Google Classroom as an assignment for students to complete on their own time and submit to me individually?
    The students in my classroom have various and multiple disabilities and all work at their own pace with their own specific needs and supports. I love what jamboard has to offer, I just need to be able to set it up so they can do it when its convenient for them and their families because my students can't access anything on their own, so they can only work on their assignments when their parents are available to help them.

    I found this very helpful, but I did have to go elsewhere and find out about snipping tools -- and then add an extension for that to my Chromebook.
    I also thought some of the steps starting shortly after 4:00 suddenly came at us really fast and close together. You were talking about enabling edit, but you were also copying the link to then paste in a later step. (Did you just do that paste so students wouldn't have to go into their mail to find the share?) It took me 3 or 4 views of this passage to even see what had happened.
    In offering these comments, I'm assuming you intend this video for those of us still getting acclimated to these resources, not just for the super-tech-savvy.

      My students have iPads.

    • @DanSpada
      @DanSpada  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Elena, I'm not sure about the iPads, but if you go to the share settings and make it available to everyone, then go into the URL and replace the end part that says /viewer or /edit by typing in /copy. Then copy the entire URL so it ends with /copy and it will force each student to create their own copy of the Jamboard. They can then submit their links or save it as a pdf and submit that as well.
      If that is confusing let me know and I can put together a short video for you!

    Do I have to create a meet everyday or could I use the same meet link every day.

    • @brentneas9025
      @brentneas9025 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      When you create a meet you can set it up to repeat every day, every week, a couple of other options, or custom. (I do custom for twice a week.) If you do this from a Google calendar, the popup box with the preliminary meeting info to edit has an area for the date and time of the meeting. Hover here and the hand shows up indicating it's an active area. Click and you then see an option show up that says "Does not repeat" with a drop-down arrow next to it. Click there and you'll see the meeting repetition options. Back when I was brand new to all of this stuff, I created meetings separately every time for a short bit before I figured this one out just playing around! (I didn't even know to ask -- so you're already ahead of me!)
