Thank you so much for these tutorials! My school is moving toward using solely Google Suite products for our remote learning option. I was worried about losing the interactive board. Jamboard seems like a perfect teaching tool. I plan on watching all of your tutorials in this series. Thanks again!

I've used Jamboard for my students to create posters about historical figures we study. I then used their slides as the wallpaper for my interactive board. The kids who made them were excited to see their work and the kids who didn't study that particular person learned about the individual by reading my wallpaper.

Great tutorial! Thank you! I'm excited to use this to simulate a live poster session where students can "visit" different posters and add sticky notes (to add comments, quotes and examples from the course reading, etc.).

I'm an English teacher working online like everyone else right now, I live in Peru, originally from the UK. I started using this in my classes yesterday, before I watched this vid, and my students really like it & it's super easy to use. But, I did learn one or two handy tips here so even better. Thanks.

I use it as a digital vision board and I use it to organize my to do list with the stick notes. I move my tasks round in order of importance. When I finish the task I move it to the other side of the board or delete it if it is not a task that I do daily.

I'm using Jamboard with Google Meet for teletherapy and want to create games such as removing shapes to reveal a picture or use the sticky notes in place of dice for a board game (think CandyLand) but can't figure out how to get the pictures to stack in the correct order.

Hi Terrie, I used to work in television before becoming a teacher, so I use something called vMix, but to record just audio I would use either WeVideo or Screencastify. I actually just put-up a video of how I use Screencastify to insert audio in Google Slides, but it can be used to just record audio files as well:th-cam.com/video/-N0HBYJ9ZOk/w-d-xo.html

Hi Shamim, I believe you can have up to 50 working on one Jamboard at a time. Yes, you can create as many different pages or boards as you'd like so each student can be working on their own board within one file.

Thank you for this video, with the new updates to Jamboard I am thinking of creating group work. Giving every team of 4 students a page to add their input during a lesson. I'm going to try it out this week.... will let you know how it worked out.

@@DanSpada It worked ok for a first try... our main problem is that when there's something new MOST of the students are very wary to give it a go. The next time I'm going to use 2 students to a 'slide' on Jamboard, as 4 went overboard... literally. Also perhaps working with a smaller group may have been wiser... my trial class were 19 students in the 3rd hour online.
