    Thank you, Michelle. One BIG problem I encountered with my students when we use Jamboard was some of them keep on clearing the frame during group work so I don't recommend it for that kind of activity. However, when I posted a Jamboard in Google Classroom, we can actually give each student a copy so they can work on their own Jamboard. 😊

I've tried clicking your free link using my personal and district emails, but I am getting a broken link message. Is there another way to grab the free templates? Thank you so much Michelle. Just when I think I knew jamboard, you taught me so much more.
    Michelle- could you do a slides video on how you make fraction worksheets? Slides does not let you copy multiple text boxes. I am struggling with creating in slides- especially math- fractions, multiplication, division etc. Thank you.

    • @michaelmiller8556
      @michaelmiller8556 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Google really does need to add an equation editor to Slides. But Slides does let you copy multiple text boxes. Just select them all with the Select tool or CTRL+click each one, then copy/duplicate them. You can also select the text boxes, then use the hotkey of holding CTRL+ALT and click & drag the text boxes (or any element in slides) to create duplicates of them.

    I saw the little Jamboard icon today for the first time, and your video was super helpful! One thing I didn't really understand though was near the end, you mentioned you put anything you do not want your students to be able to edit, as the background, and then put "editable" images etc. over the top. Are you please able to explain how to do this in more detail? I am assuming you created your own background with the activity as a template? If so, do you have a video on how to do this in more detail/steps? Tia!

    Thank you so much for this helpful video--I really appreciate all of your videos and TpT resources (as someone else said--a huge bargain)!! I have a question for you: how do you make backgrounds that fill the whole jamboard? When I try to make a background in Google Draw or insert my own image from a photo, it leaves a gap of about 2 inches on each side. Do you have a tutorial for making background templates for jamboards?

    If you are presenting the jam board in an online lesson, can the kids interact with it AT THAT TIME? I have K-2 students, and it’s very important for them. I want to ask them to choose the right date and place it where it goes on the calendar, or finish a pattern of shapes while we are all watching.

    If you share the link, they are all using the same file. How can you share it where each student has their own? I have ideas to make each slide different questions and they submit it as an assignment. This would maybe for small groups when I'm not directly interacting every moment.

    Is it possible to copy/paste an image onto a different slide (sorry I don't know the jamboard name for a slide?) I know how to duplicate the entire slide, but I'm talking about copying one image and carrying it over to a new slide.

    • @PocketfulofPrimary
      @PocketfulofPrimary  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Cassie! On Google Jamboard, slides are called "frames" and the answer is yes! Just select the image, text box, etc., use the copy shortcut on your keyboard (command + c on a Mac and control + c on a PC), and then use the paste shortcut on your keyboard (command + v on a Mac and control + v on a PC) to paste it on another frame!

    All of these I know, but one thing that makes me so confused. It's the laser, what does it do? It doesn't cut anything like a laser, you swis-gle around and then it disappear with the pattern you did, hmmmm. Is it for aesthetic? 🤔🤔

    • @michaelmiller8556
      @michaelmiller8556 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It works just like a laser pointer IRL. As you're talking about something you use the laser to circle/focus attention to that thing, and then you move on, and the laser disappears, because it's just a momentary focus/attention grabber.
