How to use Google Meet | A short tutorial for teachers to use Google Meet for online teaching.

To begin using, just log into your Google or GSuite account. If you don’t have a GSuite account yet, check out edu.google.com to see how your institution can get GSuite for free.
✅ Schedule a Class 01:24
You can begin an instant meeting on the Meet homepage or schedule one within Google Calendar. We recommend scheduling your classes in advance so that all the setup is complete before your class begins. When creating your event, just click the bar "Add Google Meet video conferencing" for the event to be scheduled with Google Meet.
✅ Start your Class 03:20
When it's time to start class, you can either click on the event in your calendar, or you can also join by inserting the Meeting ID or Nickname on the Meet homepage. You will see a toolbar at the bottom of the screen with different buttons for more options and features during your call.
✅ Screen Sharing 05:43
You can share your whole desktop, a specific window, or a certain tab in Chrome.
✅ Google Meet Restrictions 07:10
Because of Meet's simplicity, the current version is lacking some security controls.

Are they the same? If we sign for free, can we share the screen with others? Can we use the PowerPoint presentation and share documents? Thanks a lot!

If you have G Suite Enterprise, you can add only up to 250 students to a meeting. If you are just a regular Google user, then only 100 students can be added.
