Praise the Lord! Amen. God is merciful. He always forgives. Never be ashamed to take your failures to him. He is for you, not against you! God is with you in the storm. He knows your troubles, he hears you! He is for you, on your side, always! It may feel silent at times, but he’s holding you close! May the Lord return soon! We are drawing closer. He is coming! Believe and trust in the Lord, you will be saved. Period. May the Lord bless you all! Hang in there family. Stay strong. It is not easy following the Lord. We are scoffed at. We give up our earthly dreams, our fleshly desires. What the enemy offers is short lived, but heaven is forever! Life may seem or be unfair, but God is with you! Always remember that. Things may get better or worse for you, but a kingdom awaits you! Finish the race! Repent daily and carry your cross. This world is fading fast. Your troubles are temporary! New channel here, I’d appreciate any kind of support. Don’t give up! God loves you so much! So do I. The Lord bless you!

I know from experience the human weakness when it comes to anger. It is easy to become angry. The more I mature in Christ, the more I see the anger coming before it is actually anger. I know anger is going to wreck my peace, my joy, my contentment, and probably my day. Knowing this if possible, I take the developing situation to God in prayer and he ofter relieves me and restores my joy in him pretty quick. Sometimes anger happens too fast or I am not recognizing what is happening, or frankly, I want to be angry. Those times are the worse. I have to do some remembering of scripture so I get before my God in an attitude of I am sorry, please cleanse me. Yes, the wrath of man does not work the righteousness of God. That is scripture I try to keep before me always...

“Be angry” is not an imperative, but a suppositional statement in the “subjunctive mood,” a grammatical device many fail to understand these days.
Compare various translations of the passage in question, and you will see that the true import of the passage is, “Even should you perchance be angry, do not sin…!”

Thank you for this, I have been consumed with anger for the past three month.Daily I ponder and replace the "tapes" in my head.I honestly don't know how to move forward.I feel betrayed and thus justified to be angry.
I eagerly await the next teachings on this topic.

Awesome lesson. Yes anger is an extremely dangerous emotion. It is ok to feel it, but do not let it consume you.

"Does ‘Be Angry!’ Mean, ‘Make Sure You’re Angry’? Ephesians 4:25-29"
Sadly these verses were translated poorly by the translators in England in 1611. IE: Most bible scholars KNOW this. Also, many wise Christians KNOW this too. Thus a more accurate translation is:
    Ephesians 4:25-29
25 Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body. 26 “In your anger do not sin”[d]: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27 and do not give the devil a foothold. 28 Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need. 29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
Please listen carefully Brethren: I know, I know, that most of the Christian world worships the second version of the KJV bible; as I did for 69 yrs of my 89 yrs. But NOT any more. For there is NO credible evidence on this planet; that the KJV is more accurate than any other bible version. Oh indeed yes.
So a wise person will do the research*; and if you do this with an open mind; you too, will KNOW that the KJV has MANY translational errors; similar to the above verses. Worse and sadly: It is one of the reasons we have so many different denominations all over the world; arguing with each other. So I suggest you get ON your knees and ask Jesus sincerely, to give you wisdom, understanding and the truth.
For IF you do that sincerely; you will learn MORE, (even without reading,) than you ever have in your lives. Because the Holy Spirit can teach you more in one micro-second; than you could learn in a trillion millenniums. Believe it or not! Please try it.
In any case, Please Pray OFTEN and Praise Jesus OFTEN; for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. And may Jesus bless you and yours always. AMEN!
    * I strongly suggest Brethren; that you sincerely read this: (Sorry it is Loooooooong LOL)

According to Robertson's Word Pictures "Be ye angry and sin not" is a permissive imperative, not a command to be angry.

Get right with God friends, about 500 prophecies fulfilled hundreds and thousands of years in advance prove the Bible is God's word! Accept the free gift of salvation, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Romans 10:9-10, if faith is genuine you will repent of sins, and you will be saved! 🎺

    Brilliant exposition like always.
I wonder if the directive to not let the sun go down on anger has to do with unforgiveness? Playing that tape over and over again is us taking the seat of judgment apon our neighbor. Elsewhere it says the same measure the same measure we use will be applied to us. God has every right to stay angry with us. He could've let the sun of our lives set on His anger. But he didn't
