''Righteous anger is fueled by love for others,unrighteous anger is fueled by love for yourself"- very powerfull message.God bless you brother Tim Conway!
Thank you for sharing. It is too easy to get caught up in this world, and let anger overcome....at least for me it is one of my biggest contenders. I needed to hear this. Thank you God for your word and thank you Tim for sharing God's word.
I am so glad my father had gotten me christianed & baptized now i understand why he had done that for me so they can still look down on me and still makeing sure that I am Safe for the rest of my life & i love it so much & how lucky i am to be blessed by God & my loved once that is with you right now & i thank you for your guidance with all the love you have been given me & blessings you have been given me so i am going to spread all the love & caring & helping the people that are struggling right now as it is desperately needed right now as there are to much evils in life right now so don't worry i am going to spread the love & caring to the Human race as they are not a lot of love in it right now & i thank you for your guidance to spread the love & caring into the human rece amen 🥰🙏
OH my gosh....😩 Good timing. It's so hard to get angry and not sin when your anger is justified, because of the evil in the hearts of hateful men and women.
Very timely. I became angry at a situation earlier in the day, and immediately searched for this sermon by Tim Conway. I've realised where I erred... Yes, I need to put away the old me, and let Christ consume my mind and heart. Thank you :)
I became angry a few days ago at an attitude I perceived from my spouse. I didn't realize it then, but I went to sleep and let it simmer (as I used to do before knowing Christ). The following days I noticed a dramatic decrease in my prayer life and I knew I had grieved the spirit. I struggled with it because I didn't know what I had done, or how it came to be. Thank you Tim for this powerful message, Praise the Lord for crossing our paths.
Thank you Lord for such a message as this. I've never heard such a true, honest and heart wrenching message. Lord help us to change in our minds and hearts by your grace. Amen.
I can tell iknows what he's talking about, lol. But nonetheless that's because I know what he's talking about & that is what the Lord came to change in us. God is a jealous God and we Thank God for this message!
Be angry and sin not: if a "bother" lies and cheats me out of a deal, or spreads a false rumor, I do have a rite to be angry, the "sin not" would be : we are not to express our anger by vengeance, threatening, or profanity.
wrath of god is not only anger but retribution for wrongs done. what precept on precept shows...moving to the east side and you get broken into... be angry, yet not assume you are Gods retribution
jesus saidd unless you eat the flesh and drink his blood you have no life in you yes we must listhen to the word of god we must also forgive others and ask pray to god our father to love our enermies let us remember that the catholic church is a universal church the bride of christ founded by jesus christ who is the same yesterday today and eternity we are all made in the image and likeness of god and we serve one purpus to honer obey the comandements which jesus gave to the apostles to love god first and to love our neighber god bless you
I know the word says be ye angry and sin not. but I think it would be next to impossible not to be in sin if you get angry. I say this because from my own personal experience when I use to be angry all the time it was because I took an offense Jesus said we are not to take offense of one another but forgive.
@EquinoxEquillibrium LITV is a literal version. NASB is the New American Standard Bible, NLT is the New Living Translation. These are just the versions I have on hand in e-Sword. What translations were you comparing the ESV against?
@sneakytanderson (ESV) Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, (KJV) Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: (LITV) "Be angry but do not sin;" do not let the sun go down on your wrath. (NASB) BE ANGRY, AND yet DO NOT SIN; do not let the sun go down on your anger, (NLT) And "don't sin by letting anger control you." Don't let the sun go down while you are still angry, I wouldn't say the ESV is completely different.

wrath and anger are two different things
jesus saidd unless you eat the flesh and drink his blood you have no life in you

so true
i pray i can do the same thing..with milk or similar circumstance.
@sneakytanderson
(ESV) Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger,
(KJV) Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
(LITV) "Be angry but do not sin;" do not let the sun go down on your wrath.
(NASB) BE ANGRY, AND yet DO NOT SIN; do not let the sun go down on your anger,
(NLT) And "don't sin by letting anger control you." Don't let the sun go down while you are still angry,
I wouldn't say the ESV is completely different.
I wish you would address your topic.
@morethanimusic King james version, what are all the other ones?

@ausboycam LOL...sorry,I had a brain-fart :-) *Thank you*

Hate the sin but not the sinner. You are commanded to love the sinner.
where does it say not to be offended? It is written that in the last days many will be offended and the love of many will grow cold
