I just grabbed one of these controllers out of curiosity as I have a pair of NYXI Hyperion "joycon" which look identical to this controller. The main difference being the lack of back plate that attaches the controllers together. Due to the size of these joycon I think the back plate is necessary to help stabilize the unit so that the rails on the switch don't bend. I really love my NXYI Hyperions but that one issue worries me a bit. I hope this controller is the solution.
It's REALLY GOOD. I just wish they provided rail sliders for the switch, it looks like it was made for the OLED in mind. It fits a little loose with my v2. Other than that, it's responsive, the buttons feels good and the size is perfect. Thanks for the video. Also if there is some sort of sliders I can order to fill in the gaps (because the OLED is slightly wider than the OG) let me know please.
The turbo button is for when you need to hit a certain button over and over again, for example in a boss fight, turbo mode allows you to just hold down the button and it automatically hits the boss over and over again as quickly as possible.

I was really hoping youd talk about the dpad. Alot of controllers have really terrible dpads that cant do the basic fireball in street fighter
I don’t have street fighter for Switch. It’s not a bad. It’s certainly a better D-Pad than the JoyCons. 😉
