I still love my black nirtrodedk it’s perfect to me and I play mostly handheld mode too. And the right stick is easy to reach for me
Hey jp zero in your guilded server I got the version that has the 4 programable buttons that can fit both original and oled switch and I luv it fits perfectly for me ihave big hands so the joycons felt so bad my hand and luv the hall effects thumbsticks
the thumbstick bases are one thing they should change, and the HDMI port should be facing down on the back so the cables arent sticking out of the top when docked. Like the Nitro Deck + is designed. Oh, and they should sell this bundled with a carrying case that fits it with the switch attached.
I will send the feedback to them, but who knows if they listen to me lol
When I stopped using my Switch. I was rocking the clear rgb Binbok joycons. I loved em. I just never use my Switch since getting a Steam Deck

I got a used blue one and it’s very nice, only complaint is that the grip won’t always work until you unplug the power cord and plug it back in after the “controller” connects.

I have the black one and the red and blue look nice against it, not so much on the A/Purple though. I love it but I didn't get the thumbstick cap with mine
I picked up the same one last week. It has replaced my Nitro Deck as my favorite grip in terms of comfort and extra portability with the dock.

If you are having a problem pairing this controller in CFW, then power down your Switch, and reboot into the stock firmware. Once in, follow the instructions to pair the controller and it connect. Once done, power down your Switch, and reboot into your CFW. The console will remember the pairing and should connect automatically.
what if suddenly both joystick start acting like they were possesed? Like even a light breeze makes them move like crazy in all directions making the grip useless? Is there a way of solving that?

I don't know if I will play in docked mode but it's good to be able to have the option with minimal fuss involved. Thanks for the recommendation

I agree about the thumbstick colors. I love so much about this dock/grip. However, I have encountered a deal breaker when using it with my V1 switch running CFW. If I leave it plugged up but I turn off the screen, after a while I wont be able to get the screen back on. It is like my switch just shuts down. Then I have to long press the power button to turn it back on. Of course this puts my switch in OFW which is a huge pain. Have you tried this on CFW? I am just curious about other's experiences with this grip. I may send it back for an exchange in case mine is simply defective.
I can test this for you, have you also tried the same situation on the original dock ?
@ARG I think it may be a fault in my dual pc set up. I tried it with the cables on my other dock on a simpler set up. So far so good. If I run into any more issues. I will follow up. So far I really love it for comfort. Thanks for responding.
@@ARG It did shut my switch down again. So I took out my CFW switch and inserted a OFW switch and it immediately shut down that switch too. I think I just y way of luck, got one with a defect. I will be sending it back. I will likely order another though. I did like so many things about it.
@ARG I did opt for a replacement, and it is working as intended. I am so happy! This matches my retroid 3 plus and makes my desk look amazing. Wanted to be sure to update my original comment so others know. I just hope my husband realizes how many accessories I want and don't buy. Lol
Nothing like buying a brand new peripheral for a console at the end of its life cycle.. at least it’s really reasonably priced and not $80 like I would have expected
It looks cool, and I love how it functions, but then you would have to hunt for a new case.
They sell it with or without a travel case. With travel case around 80.00 usd.
They should add a botton to switch the mig on and off instead of ejecting it every time !! 😆
