    How's the friction on the cables? I bought and setup a Valor DB62 and the friction is just horrible. There's almost no eccentric force and the force to lift the weights is insane due to the friction. Great video! Some people who have used the Cable Tower V2 have commented that it is not tall enough for full ROM on lat pull downs for people with long torsos or arms. What is the distance between the bottom of the lat pull bar and the top of the seat (or top of the bench if you don't have a seat)? Thanks.

    • @DoritosResidue
      @DoritosResidue 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Its probably because they have the super bench which is about 21 inches from the ground. I have it along with the v2 tower and its exactly that high as far as mine goes. Im 5'10 and its more than enough for me.The pro bench thats shown in this video is about 17 inches off the ground. So getting the pro bench will get you 4 inches more play.

    • @tomjones8235

      @@DoritosResidue Thanks for your response. I already have a bench from outside the Ironmaster universe, so I would prefer to get the seat attachment rather than one of the superbenches. The seat is the same height as the original super bench, so it is more like 20 or 21 inches high. I am just under 6'0" with arms that are slightly longer than usual. Do you think that the extra five or six inches (three or four inches of additional height of the seat plus two inches of additional height of me) will eliminate resistance at the beginning/top of the lat pull? From your video, it looks like it will be close. I appreciate your thoughts on this. Thanks.

    Not worth it for the price i mean yeah works with the bench and ironmaster plates but at $700 there are a couple of 200lbs stack pull down wall versions that cost $900 online and bells of stell is more expensive at $1200 but still having to attach the bench or move the pull down machine to do rows thats another issues this pulldown machine cant be against a wall to save space as rows are on the other side.
