Careful with that cut between the cylinders. That is where the cylinder head gaskets give out on ecoboost because the surface area is below minimum so it doesn't hold as much.

Will be interesting to see how the head gasket holds with boost and the coolant slots between the cylinders. Ford EB 4 banger had a big issue with not enough meat between the cylinders, so they had to do a redesign.
i love Ty's attitude even when hes being challenged he has a big smile and looks at everything with a glass half full. I would have liked to see what the Godzilla 100% stock is capable of with that chassis. Then see exactly what the mods did to it. Either way. Excited to see the trans setup and see what this unit does!
There are a fair number of Fox body - Godzilla swaps already done with 1/8th mile and 1/4 mile ETs. Stock zilla is tuned for torque in a truck so not ideal for drag racing especially on the top end. If the plan is turbos, nitrous, etc. - better to get it set up to breath properly to take advantage now. And it will make big gains even normally aspirated.
Probably less than that even. With the heads and cam package the amount of air they'll be moving will mean that 8-10 psi would be like 12-14 or more with stock heads and cam. The lack of restrictions will make the boost lower but the amount of air being moved greater equaling high cylinder pressure. Definitely will need more ring gap. Also needs to weld the split between the cylinders and re deck it. I can guarantee the head gasket will push right there when he's leaning on it...
I'm gonna be honest Cleet, not many things calm me down from dealing with the BS of life quite like a proper build montage from you and your crew. Thanks

This is defiantly the best car channel on TH-cam, I wouldn't be mad if the videos were longer, very entertaining!!!
It’s pretty damn satisfying watching Ty smash those welds out. 🙌🏼
I swear man, Ty’s quality of work is amazing. Every fab video
its nice having a big team so many things get done all at once vs it just being 2 people like years ago projects where limited and time was limited
Feels like the old school cleetus videos, the "good enough for now" mentality always guarantees us a rebuild video later.
This is what we've been asking for gents a Tye heavy fab episode. Cletus listens. Let the views and comments reflect.
Tye needs his own channel. I could watch a lot more of his fab work.
Will be interesting to see how the head gasket holds with boost and the coolant slots between the cylinders. Ford EB 4 banger had a big issue with not enough meat between the cylinders, so they had to do a redesign.
I was wondering what those slices between the cylinders were
i love Ty's attitude even when hes being challenged he has a big smile and looks at everything with a glass half full. I would be absolutely devastated if he were to leave the team!!!! his work and cleets imagination on builds is exactly what we need! good work Ty and keep it up! we all love you on the channel!
Tye is a great guy. I really respect his passion. Thanks for the video. I needed this.
I’m a big mustang guy so this build is my favorite y’all have going right now, can’t wait to see what the Godzilla can do
The Godzilla engines have a tight ring gap .... you have to open them up before boosting!! If not, 12-14 psi of boost and there goes the pistons.
@@Brother2Jis_27s4 Yup, that groove in the top deck is bad news for boost.
cleeter still hitting it with the timelapse bangers
Can’t wait to see this one running
Hell Yea Brother patiently waiting for the foxbody content. Glad to see some progress done on project McFlurry. 🙌
I'm gonna be honest Cleet, not many things calm me down from dealing with the BS of life quite like a proper build montage from you and your crew. Thanks
The whole world is just a bottomless pit of bs now it seems like. I feel this comment in my soul

Really appreciate the timelapse music during the engine build. Much like the pre-2020 music we used to hear all the time here!
I think Tye has earned a car rotisserie with all this art work he putting into the world
Definitely
I absolutely love these foxbody videos… always enjoy seeing Tye do his thing… especially on ford stuff as we know that’s his happy place… keep it goin Tye can’t wait to see the fox rippin
Ty has just blown me away between Leroy and now this project! He’s really showing just how talented he is! I love the mustang content, I love Chevy but it’s a nice change of pace. Plus who doesn’t love a notch! Just a thought, I’d love to see the notch painted and pretty for Sam to shine up! Give the ole girl a glow up! 😂
