Ofx2gv makes a great product! (Wish their name was a little easier to remember lol) I found that when removing mine, not using heat worked out better. The adhesive peeled away from the truck staying stuck to the metal sticker rather than vice versa. Great video as always!

No worries. I don’t think Autozone carries any of the mods I’ve done. The premise is to show people what they can do themselves and not that they should do them

Good video. You do a great job of explaining not only what you're doing but you also show how to do it. Does anybody know if GMC or anybody else makes an illuminated fender badge like the illuminated GMC grill badge? I think that would look good. Seen them on other brands of trucks.
I haven’t seen anything specific for these trucks, but always keep checking

Movie Magic my friend. Actually it is not intentional, the frame rate of the camera syncs up with frequency of the DRL’s and makes that effect when recorded.
When you do the blade install can you try to get some before/after shots on your backup camera? I’m curious to see how it lights everything up before I bite the bullet on one. Other than that awesome mod videos

what mpg you getting with aftermarket exhaust, cold intake or tune you have ? Edmonton Location
Only a little better. Furthest I’ve gone on this tiny tank is 650km. Usually getting about 450km-550km per tank around town. I honestly haven’t really cared about the fuel economy. Just a few remote starts a day in the cold and your numbers are thrown way off. I lived in Edmonton too, you know what I’m talking about 😂. I don’t have a tune either at this point. This summer I expect to see the best numbers since my truck will be broken in

What was that plug 🔌? My truck has a small hole in the same spot and I thought a part of the grill came off. Guess it’s a plug for something now
It’s for cold weather when parked. It powers a heater element in the engine block to keep your coolant and oil from getting to thick for cold starts. It has to be pretty cold to kick in, but for me that’s November to April.
Is that an electric truck, you need to plug it in?
It’s the connection for the block heater. Keeps the coolant and oil warmer to be able to start in the extreme cold.
I have the 2.7 2021 Sierra and I checked out that website you got the emblems from and the one I would get is the American flag unless I can speak to them to make one that just says elevation as mine is the 2.7 elevation package Sierra.
It sucks having a plastic fender badge that is plain I wish gm made a nice gloss black with the word elevation rather than a word badge for the door

What is the flat tool you used to slide behind the badge?
Look up Vinyl wrap tools. You’ll see them come in 3 colors. Black, Blue and Red. Each color has a different flexibility or rigidity.

Yes 👍🏼 Up here in Canada it is hard to find a gasoline vehicle with one.

Just my personal taste, the original Red Black badges make it look more balanced with the tail lights being Red... The Black White badges certainly are unique to your White colored truck; won't it be even more unique if they make them with LED back-lighting to light them up at dark... 😉
For sure. For me, we are ‘White truck country’. So many fleet vehicles for oilfield, mining and agriculture that Any subtle change in detail helps differentiate.
No winter windshield heater option?
😂 of course it has the windshield defrost on the highest setting, but as soon as you turn any vehicle off (during the really cold days) the wipers accumulate up to an inch of ice if left on the windshield while it cools down. Just a best practice in -40° weather.
What do you have connected to the fog light?
That is a block heater cord that keeps the engine coolant warm otherwise starting the truck in -40° can be a real problem

I like your style, I could add auxiliary lights after, but the light bar is pretty much ready to go now

Only us northern folks would have have this option. It is the quick connect for the block heater. It keeps the coolant and oil from freezing during the winter. @Donslife Well definitely number one on my list would be that vinyl on the tailgate. It's pretty awful looking. quickly followed up with the roof spoiler and hood vinyl. Honestly just about everything to me just looks like it's too much and busy. I get it man, people want to be different and want thier vehicle to look different, but alot of times people just get carried away with it and just can't stop. It's always gotta be something, and next thing you know...well, you get what I mean. I like doing thing's to my Denali, but little things. Subtle things. Again to each thier own man. You do you.
