wow the blue one looks really good
Thank you! It sure looks good a bit more "sinister" compare to the ultra red. The red is more eyecatching
The red looks more mean when you tint the windows
God bless you for being so open minded. I have driven Tesla for 12 years since the beginning. You will love it. LET IT RIP!
Thank you! The short experience I've had this far has been great
I felt like you really shared your honest experience. After watching Out of Spec Reviews and you said you had 46% I was like "pfft! let's talk about power consumption and charging curves." Can't wait to see your next experiences with the M3. My prediction is that you'll continue to be more and more impressed as you continue to explore the technology and applied physics in the performance M3. Cheers from Maryland
Thank you I appreciate that! I will for sure share some of the experiences going forward.
Charging curves is not my thing 🤣
Nice color...good video
Thank you! It sure is nice and glad you liked the video
Congrats🎉🎉🎉 the car is gorgeous and you will love it.
I took delivery of my refreshed M3 LR in March first EV I absolutely love this car. No squeaks rattles or creaks. Even my car is ridiculously fast , not performance fast😂, but fast. I love the tech and minimalism.
thank you! And congrats to you as well! I have not driven the car that much yet but I have not experienced any issues yet *knock on wood*
It will long time for me to adapt to not having indicator stalk and no dash in front of me :D
wow bro thanks for all the diff povs in the cabin
Glad you like it
I've been driving tesla's for years! love them
Hey buddy! Long time no see! Hope all is good! Did not know you have been driving T's
@@Themazcorner I am a test driver for Roush we test all kinds of stuff
@@coyotecarguy2076 you are testing out Mustang parts?
@@Themazcorner i drive pre production cars with camo on them all makes
🤩🤩Finally Tesla looks awesome
It looks very good IRL. Specially when looking at it from similar angle as the thumbnail both from the front and rear
Congrats!
Thank you
Congrats! Picking mine next week. Same exact spec 😊
thank you and the same to you then! Hopefully your delivery will be as smooth!
You will like this combon the flesh. From certain angles it looks really good
took delivery of mine Thursday and it's the same specs ;) Blue with black interiors! for me the best combination! ;) the Blue in the sun is amazing!!!
nice blue.... perfect seat white
Thank you! Yeah the white seats would have been nice. But unfortunately there was no cars available with the blue and white seats :(
This was excellent, great English as well.
Thank you! Glad you liked it
This takes the crown of most performance for the money from Ford Mustang GT and Camaro SS. Amazing deal for the same pricing as those pony cars! So many other advantages for daily driving to
It has great performance as such but lack the charachter of the GYmTs and SS's in my opinion
Mate, the blue is pretty damn nice! Beautiful car. I ordered my first Telsa and its also is a Performance. I should get it in a couple weeks.
Congrats on the car! It sure does look nice.
great video, maybe try the track mode for a more responsive feedback from the tyres and suspenssion
Nice :)
Thank you 🙌
Congrats! One thing i recommend is in display set it to always dark mode for the menus. Looks so much nicer and easier on your eyes. My model y P is awesome and I also track as well and it’s a ton of fun. Not the Tesla but my previous ice car
Haha I actually did that once we where home anyways thanks for the heads-up!
Glad you enjoy the car!
What car did you do track driving with?
@@Themazcorner e93 m3. But since 8 got the Tesla its so slooww
nice
thank you!
On the previous gen you could engage neutral at speed to use the physical brakes. You probably can di the same thing with the neutral buttons on the ceiling. And while still braking you can push the deive button again to get power/regen back
I will check what options I have with regards to this. Tnx
trackmode lets you disable regen
@mar25807 really! Will give that a go! Thanks, have barely had any time to drive car yet
@6:38 Was that a Plum/Purple colored Model Y on the truck car hauler on the back bottom?🔥
It's a color called Midnight Cherry Red I think it is only available in Europe if I am not mistaken and only on the Y.
It's a stunning color in sunlight
Awesome car!!!! I had a question about the camera equipment you use like what's everything you used to film this video?
Thank! Did an overhaul on my setup last week so still getting used to them.
The PoV cam is a Insta360 GO3s, the camera in to the right of me is a Dji osmo pocket 3 and the one one attached to the glass roof is a insta360 x4 (maybe not the best camera for this purpose)
Use the service mode to bed in the brakes. You cannot turn off one pedal driving.
Thanks! Will have a look on how to activate that!
Hows the pedal spacing for heel and toeing?
Have auto revmatch, works like a charm with every shift
Switch you AC to auto instead of manual it works much more accurately.
you going to take that thing to the drag strip? be nice to see how it runs in the 1/4 mile...trap speeds.
Unfortunately we don't have any strips close but I will try do some runs anyway. Hopefully soon :)
Do all performance models have LG batteries ?
All none US M3Ps I belive
All US have LG?
@@JT-et7ui all US cars have Panasonic
my next car :)
You will like it a lot!
"red is not available"? did you bought this from inventory? why you did not ordered it?
Yes it was a car in inventory/on the way in
Potentially there will extra customs fees on top of the 10% which is already added on cars coming from CN to Europe from july 4 or if it was the 7th(can't remember). Could be that no additional custom fees are added but no one knows .... So if I would have canceled and no car with the spec I wanted would pop up in between there would be a risk that an additional customs fee would be added on top (up to 38% in worst case)
@@Themazcorner 38%???? what the heck
@George_Shonia yeah that could happen for fully chinese brands such as Zeeker, Polestar, Xpeng etc
First one I’ve seen in blue. Looks good 3.2, is that a little off, or… oh, euro spec. A little less HP?
Yeah it looks really good in blue! 0-100 or 0-60mph are compareable between the US spec cars and all other markets. US is running panasonic batteries and the other markets get a battery pack from LG. The output of that battery is not as high as it is in the panasonic battery so the 0-120mph, 402m trapspeeds etc are lower on the LG equipped cars.
But looking at the time with 1 foot roll-out which Tesla provides in their number I ran a 3.07 which is a bit quicker than the official numbers. I checked in the Dragy app and the 0-60 with 1ft roll-out was 2.91 which is same as the US-spec one
@@Themazcorner sounds pretty close. So, that’s good. I’ve seen people rip off 2.85 on a track prepped surface. And someone posted an 8.5 60-130. But, I’m seeing 9.1 60-130, or 100-200 in KmH
@@g.dubyou6263 the US spec cars are around 5 mph faster and 0.3s quicker @402m
0-200 km/h(0-124mph) the US spec cars are around 1.5s quicker on that sprint which is substantial.
@@Themazcorner I need to trade in my G82 M4. The 60-130 is only 9.8! 🤣🤦🏻♂️
@@g.dubyou6263 haha don't do that ! The G80/G82 and are really really good! I have driven a M3 Comp on track (with the "crappy" Pirellis) and it was fantastic.
Quick acceleration is one thing but the overall experience something different :D.
Some simple mods on that M4 and it will be a rocket minus the warranty that is haha
you can put the car in service mode to bed the brakes in.
th-cam.com/video/OLakhbPYr7w/w-d-xo.html
Thank you very much! Will have a look!
Any issues with the gaps or other issues with the car?
The only thing I have seen is on the inside where one trim is off by a 2-3mm where the driver door meets the dash. But in general it is not worse than any of our previous 6 new cars these last 7 years. However this cars is coming from the China factory I am not sure how it nowadays compare to the Freemont build cars
wtf, they gave you a new car not fully charged?
:D yes! I think it is even stated that it is with 30% charge the car will be delivered with....
But the spot price for the electricity was cheap on that day so no worries to charge at home haha
Can we get a moment of silence for the 22 people who gave their lives producing the batteries that power your cars
Saving the planet doesn’t mean you kill the people
These EV nuts are blind. They just close there eyes to the facts. The fact is EV are not good for the environment.
I actually think of all people people loosing their lives for totally unnecessary reasons on a daily basis
are you feel guilty when you refueling your gas gazzler?
@@George_Shonia what would I possibly feel guilty about
@@phantomduck65 that's the problem, that you have no clue about all the Health problems burning the oil causes, you're biased & incompetent in this topic.
a tesla? wtf? you go from an mx5 to a tesla??? get that head checked
Ehh I have the MX5 as well this is my daily
@@Themazcorner what's wrong with a nice bmw?
@@pugdealer82 have had BMWs as well wanted to try a Tesla. Was strongly considering the I4 M50 and the Ioniq 5n as well.
@@Themazcorner I understand the fun of a hard accelerating electric, but that's all they offer...electric cars are soulless, plus, ugly
@@pugdealer82 it's more than just acceleration for me. But for the analog experience I have the right car for that ;)
At this point everyone is already aware how terrible is their built quality, how little the company cares about customers and how much of a scam is there "FSD" and other features. So it's so weird watching a European (of all people) buying a freaking Tesla in 2024, when you guys ACTUALLY have great quality vehicles there (BMW, Volvo, etc). Here Teslas are a joke now, I saw some gen-Zers saying the other day "eww... a Tesla, what you want to be an Uber driver or food delivery bruh?". That's how bad their reputation is now.
Haha 😄! My 2020 330e BMW was in for repair after the first day(nothing major though), our Mach-e has been in for repair mulitple times, my 2021 ID3 was in for repair multiple times, my 2018 Mustang gt was in shops for 18 weeks total, our 2018 Tiguan was in for repair multiple times.
So all cars have their own issues. My MX5 has been working great apart from a cracked engine mount but fixed that myself. Had an 2018 Audi A3 that did not have any issues during my short ownership.
The Model 3 I picked feels very solid, no squeeqs or rattles (yet), paint was good eventhough it's thin(same on our Mach-e), panel gaps are consistent. So from that aspect I am satisfied.
I actually have the opposite anecdotal experience - Tesla's are insanely popular due to what you get for the money. BMW, Volvo, is insanely more expensive for what you get, build quality aside. The tech within a Tesla is impressive, and for the price it is becoming the most sensible option to purchase a model 3 or model Y. I've heard gen Z''ers myself say the new model 3 looks badass and that they want to give it a shot tbh. Toyota camry is the uber driver... the Tesla uber driver is someone who rented it from Hertz/Uber because they love the car and are making jack-shit on profits doing so unless they fully outright own the car lol
No one cares what Gen Zs say. They are just jealous that the majority of them can't afford a fast car like this. With their tech minded focus, they would buy one of these in an instant if they were half the price
You’re a loser who clearly doesn’t know what you’re talking about
You must be joking, seriously. These European cars have more issues than you can imagine and you pay way more for th privilege. No thanks
