I noticed the rear guard from the FXDR was leaning on the wall and your camera angles didn't show the rear of the bike.....Excited!!!
If you have the patients and time, before installing the throttle side. I polished the handlebar and added graphite(dry lube) to make feel smoother when twisting the throttle.
Always used hairspray too and never had a problem
nail polish is also a good minor adhesive for a loctite replacment

FXDR since it has the Milwaukee 8, will not need the Lovejugs. It runs MUCH cooler than the big twin cam like on the Low Rider S.
BLOCKHEAD I didn’t think of that. It will be interesting to see how much cooler😎 it runs in the blistering heat of the Florida summer.

lol, yeah yeah, no orange. I'm keeping the bars for now, they've grown on me and I don't mind them as much as I thought I would!

Hi. Its ok to use a shoei rf-1200 riding an iron 883 or you advise other helmet?
RF-1200 is more meant for sport bikes b/c of the angle of the viewport. Shoei RF-SR is better for upright like on an Iron 883.

You could have ordered Biltwell Grips and a $5 plastic throttle tube. No glue needed. 😁
Biltwell grips < Arlen Ness Knurled grips. And you'd have still needed glue for the clutch side, haha

Throttle forward thingy etms I think u mentioned wondering what this means
EITMS stands for 'Engine Idle Temperature Management System.' In simple terms, with EITMS on, it cuts off one cylinder during idling if the bike reaches a certain temperature. This process cuts engine heat down when your oil-cooled motorcycle is sitting in traffic and not getting the airflow necessary to cool the fins.
If you have a bike with EITMS and fly-by-wire throttle, you can roll forward on throttle while the bike is on (and in neutral if running,) and a green indicator light will show up and flash after a few seconds. This means EITMS is now turned on. If you roll forward and hold for a few seconds and an amber indicator light shows up and flashes, this means EITMS is now turned off.
So are fly by wire and throttle by wire same thing?
Yup! The other version is Throttle by Cable, or cable throttle lines

Question, if you have hard sturdy grips already on handlebars (with some adhesive I think) how do you get them off without damaging them?
Pray lol after they are on it's so hard to get them off safely. One thing I've done is shoot compressed air under the grip and that helps.
Sometimes the only option is to cut them off. Even with compressed air, I wouldn't have even been able to get the clutch side grip off. It was REALLY glued on there.
