Another excellent video John. You're concise and informative. Bye the way, it was nice to see that Takamine get a cameo. I was worried it was getting a little lonely back there behind you. My airport here in Norfolk Virginia is also small and easy to navigate. As you know I recently flew into El Paso and have to say that the El Paso airport is even easier to traverse. It's got some of that funky Southwest vibe goin' on. It reminded me of the airport in Albuquerque for ease of use though the Albuquerque airport is even prettier. Keep up the good work and Rock On my friend.
I guess Im asking randomly but does anybody know a trick to get back into an instagram account? I was stupid forgot the password. I love any tricks you can give me!
@Flynn Andres i really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Yes they do, off the top of my head I know there's one off of Mesa at the container stores, more formally known as TIME at Montecillo and I've seen a really nice looking one downtown too!
Sure and just to cut to the chase, currently (2020), we tell people that the average property taxes are about 2.8-2.9% of a homes' value. So, if your home is APPRAISED (not sales price, which is usually much more) at $100,000, you'll pay around $2,800 - $,2900 a year in property taxes, etc.
John can you tell me it seems like it is easy to naviagate el paso airport. I will be travelling in sept of 2023 I will be coming in from NH via chicago on american airlines. Is it like super crazy to get your luggage and such. I am going to see my son in Alamagordo New Mexico and he will be picking me up at ELP. Thank you . Terry Kolodgy
My wife is originally from Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico. We currently reside in Glendale(Phoenix) AZ. We've been through El Paso on many occasions. We are looking at the possibility of moving to the area. Could you post a video of the homes in NE El Paso. We saw some really neat older homes east of the big mountain that runs North to South. Due to Covid, I don't see us leaving to visit anytime soon. Possibly next year for a few day visit. Phoenix is too hot and El Paso, I know it gets hot, but no where near Phoenix! I like it because it will get my wife within 4 hours from family and that's a great thing. What major companies a there? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!
Hi Kevin, I can definitely do a video on the northeast. The area that you are talking about, I think, is Manhattan Heights. I really love this neighborhood too, mostly older homes just east of the mountains. I'm going to do a video this week about the job market and I'll make sure to include the major companies here. Thanks for the comment!
Me and my wife are planing to take a trip to check out the areas in el paso in april, if anyone is available to let us know were to look and best places to live appreciate
Hi Christian, we routinely show people around the city and help them get familiar with the different areas. Shoot me an email at john@penaelpaso.com if you like!

I'll be moving to El Paso in a couple of months. I've been there many times and I love the airport! Thank you for this video. 🙌🏜️😎👍🌅
Excellent overview of ELP Airport. Thank you for making this video. Very nice and functional facility.
Excellent report. Was thinking of retiring to Florida, actually around Fort Myers, but you are changing my mind. Thank you.
I’m from Fort Myers, FL the cost of living appears to be the same. I’ll be moving to El Paso and I’ll see what there main differences are

westside is more affluent, better schools, more stores, more money, just better quality of life. it's more expensive though
I’m flying domestic but since it’s an international airport will I need my birth certificate or will real id will suffice to get through security? 🙂
Sorry, probably too late to help but I think your ID will suffice.
An international airport with no international flights? Looking for flights to Mexico from El Paso.
Not 100% sure on this, but I hear that some people go into Juarez and fly out from there. www.oma.aero/es/pasajeros/ciudad-juarez/
