  • We stayed at the Hotel Del Norte in El Paso Texas. This hotel is one of Marriott's Autograph Collection. We're finding that this collection of unique and often historic hotels provides a top notch experience!
Check out the first time we stayed at a Marriott Autograph Collection hotel when we stayed at the St. Anthony in San Antonio, Texas: • The St. Anthony Hotel ...
On this visit, we had so much fun exploring the hotel. We only stayed for one night, and we treated ourselves to dinner at the 1700 Steakhouse, and then breakfast at the Sabor restaurant - both on site at this hotel...and both excellent!
We're a part of the Marriott Bonvoy travel program. We're not sponsored, but we encourage you to check it out! Very worthwhile!

Good morning friends. I hope you're doing well. What a gem. I absolutely love that hotel. The room is incredible and has so many amenities. The outside area looks extremely interesting and inviting. I hope you guys are doing well and having a great day.
I've never been to El Paso, but there are many things there that I would like to see. Downtown area looks really interesting. I had a friend who during World War II was a guard at a German POW camp in El Paso.

Good morning Dennis! We were just talking about this hotel yesterday. We think it is one of our favorite places we’ve been in years and we found it in El Paso, Texas! Who knew?
That is interesting about your friend who served during World War II. I did not know they had a POW camp in El Paso that time. I had a client who served for US army during World War II and was a POW until liberated.

@@EmptyNesterLife I believe the name of the camp was camp Bliss. He was actually in the Calvary and rode a horse every day. Texas had many POW camps throughout the state in World War II. I did not know that until several years ago.

Stayed at the Historic St. Anthony in San Antonio, where John Wayne had stayed there while filming a movie there. Along with many other famous presidents and movie stars. Now, they have remodeled the hotel, have not Stayed there since remodeled.
